¡Hola! Estoy empezando la semana con un clásico de los años 80s. En esta ocasión les traigo la canción "I Just Died In Your Arms" del grupo Cutting Crew.

Algo interesante de esta canción es su intro con el teclado. Y es que nada más al escuchar ese riff, se sabe que es esta canción. Para emular este sonido utilicé un sintetizador llamado FM synth, el cual es una especie de réplica del Yamaha DX un synth muy usado en los 80s.

También la recreación de los demás instrumentos, los hice con uno de mis DAWs favoritos, GarageBand. El cello, el bajo y la batería si fueron muy sencillos de hacer, y por supuesto el piano que siempre me está acompañando.

Estuve practicando esta canción ya que el la estamos preparando con un grupo para el matrimonio del baterista de mi banda. Él escogió las canciones y va a estar tocando con nosotros, claro, para la fiesta de matrimonio.

Estoy emocionado por esa ocasión tan especial y por eso desde ya ando ensayando las canciones del repertorio. Espero les guste este pequeño cover que hice y ¡nos vemos en una próxima!

Hello! I'm starting the week with a classic from the 80s. This time I bring you the song "I Just Died In Your Arms" by the group Cutting Crew.

Something interesting about this song is its intro with the keyboard. And it's just that when you hear that riff, you know it's this song. To emulate this sound I used a synthesizer called FM synth, which is a kind of replica of the Yamaha DX, a synth widely used in the 80s.

Also the recreation of the other instruments, I did them with one of my favorite DAWs, GarageBand. The cello, the bass and the drums were very easy to do, and of course the piano that is always accompanying me.

I was practicing this song since we are preparing it with a group for the marriage of the drummer of my band. He chose the songs and he's going to be playing with us, of course, for the wedding party.
