Is Delegation the Right way to Encourage Newcomers?

I know it's not easy to show newcomers to our community the right path and encourage them to work on long-term plans. Because in the new situation they don't know everything about the community well, so we have to cooperate with them in many ways. One of the ways is to try to keep them effective with delegations.

I was initially inspired to get delegations from others and was eager to do something good. In the same way I have tried to encourage others by giving delegations. But still some questions remain. So I am asking today's question to @Priyanarc apu-
