COVID19 PCR test: How are we doing it in Oman?

RT-PCR test is the only recommended confirmatory test for COVID19. Whoever suffers from the features suggestive of coronavirus disease, for the confirmation, he/she need to do this test. Whoever wants to travel abroad, he/she need to produce a COVID19 negative certificate to an immigration officer. Without a negative certain, even an airline won't allow a passenger to fly (in most of the airlines, there may be some exceptions). In short, either for travel purpose or for the diagnosis, a person needs to do this PCR test.
In Oman, in my clinic, there is the facility to do this PCR test. Dialy we are taking the samples from a good number of travellers or patients. In this video, I have talked about the rules and regulation regarding the PCR test for an international traveller. I have also talked about the method sample collection and test in my working place. Hope that you will find it useful.
