Saludos a toda la comunidad musical de Hive, otra vez nos encontramos para participar en éste maravilloso evento llamado Hive Music Festival en su ronda número 2, ésta vez voy a presentar una obra titulada The Entertainer de Scott Joplin.

Cordiales saludos a los jueces y organizadores del evento: @eugelys, @ilazramusic, @edwardstobia, que están haciendo una labor fantástica con éste evento y motivando a artistas de todo el mundo en unirse para hacer música de calidad y en familia.

Es una oportunidad perfecta para mí para mostrar mis habilidades en la guitarra y poder compartir de manera musical con otras personas alrededor del mundo, ya que la música no tiene fronteras ni distinciones, y se demuestra aquí en éste formidable evento.

La primera vez que escuche Ragtime, fue increíble para mí, era adolescente y estuve enamorado completamente del género, todos los días escuchaba las grabaciones que había en Youtube de Scott Joplin, me parecía un estilo musical divertido, elegante y simpático.

Cuando comencé a ver clases de guitarra clásica, me puse a investigar sobre Arreglos para Guitarra Ragtime y me conseguí con una versión de The Entertainer* que me pareció bastante simpática, me la estudié con mucha pasión y siempre la tocaba cuando tenía la oportunidad.

The Entertanier es para mí una obra sonora bien interesante desde el punto de vista musical, primero porque tiene una melodía sencilla pero bastante pegajosa, y ése talento de hacer melodías atractivas para todo tipo de público no la tiene cualquier persona, por lo que Scott Joplin era un muy buen compositor.

Otra cosa que me llama mucho la atención es el uso del Walking Bass durante la obra y su armonía sencilla pero bien gustosa, también tecnicamente tiene su grado de dificultad (tanto en el piano como en la guitarra).

En fin, hay muchas cualidades por las que me gusta ésta obra, además que siempre me hace subir los ánimos, así que con todos ustedes, The Entertainer de Scott Joplin muchísimas gracias. #hmf #music

Greetings to all the Hive music community, once again we meet to participate in this wonderful event called Hive Music Festival in its round number 2, this time I am going to present a piece titled The Entertainer by Scott Joplin.

Warm regards to the judges and organizers of the event: @eugelys, @ilazramusic, @edwardstobia, who are doing a fantastic job with this event and motivating artists from all over the world to come together to make quality, family-friendly music.

It's a perfect opportunity for me to showcase my guitar skills and to be able to share in a musical way with other people around the world, as music has no borders or distinctions, and it shows here in this great event.

The first time I listened to Ragtime, it was incredible for me, I was a teenager and I was completely in love with the genre, every day I listened to Scott Joplin's recordings on Youtube, it seemed to me a fun, elegant and nice musical style.

When I started watching classical guitar lessons, I started researching Arrangements for Ragtime Guitar and I came across a version of The Entertainer* that I found quite nice, I studied it with a lot of passion and always played it whenever I had the chance.

The Entertanier is for me a very interesting sound work from a musical point of view, first of all because it has a simple but quite catchy melody, and that talent of making attractive melodies for all kinds of audiences is not something that just anybody has, so Scott Joplin was a very good composer.

Another thing that really catches my attention is the use of the Walking Bass during the piece and its simple but tasteful harmony, also technically it has its degree of difficulty (both in the piano and guitar).

Anyway, there are many qualities why I like this piece, plus it always makes my spirits rise, so with all of you, The Entertainer by Scott Joplin thank you very much. #hmf #music
