La improvisación es medicina para el alma. Es vivir el momento.

La creación musical es un misterio, siempre lo he dicho y siempre lo diré, improvisar es vivir el momento, expresarte desde el alma, la mente y el espíritu, es plasmar en el plano físico aquello que esta en tu mundo interior, es magia pura, alquimia mental !

Igualmente improvisar es medicina para el alma, porque debes enfocarte tanto en el presente, que te hace olvidarte de tus problemas, hace que tu espíritu vuele, que tus emociones y tus pensamientos se direccionen hacia un lugar en concreto, es algo maravilloso.

Yo siempre le aconsejo a los músicos improvisar, no importa si no son jazzistas, o nunca han estudiado como tal la improvisación, lo importante es crear, crear es vivir!

Hacer música es algo natural del ser humano, somos por naturaleza seres artísticos, pero en la actualidad pocos se atreven a hacer arte porque siente que no son buenos, y yo les digo que no es una cuestión de sí eres un genio o no, es que necesitamos hacer arte para vivir, es una parte fundamental de nuestras necesidades como seres humanos.

Por eso aplaudo este tipo de iniciativas que nos conectan con nuestro lado más humano, el lado de la creación artística, el Jamming Zone es una gran oportunidad para expresarnos y compartir con otros.

Improvisando con elementos Venezolanos y Andaluces.

Si profundizamos un poco sobre nuestras raíces musicales, nos encontraremos con España sin duda alguna, muchos de los elementos sonoros de Venezuela tiene su origen en las tierras españolas, y por ende, su influencia estará siempre presente en nuestra cultura.

El merengue Venezolano, tiene elementos Africanos e Indígenas, ese exótico compás de 5/8 que para muchos sigue siendo un debate musical, nació en mi fusionar este estilo Venezolano con los elementos de la música andaluza, y dio como resultado este video.

Improvisation is medicine for the soul. It is living the moment.

Musical creation is a mystery, I have always said it and I will always say it, to improvise is to live the moment, to express yourself from the soul, the mind and the spirit, it is to capture on the physical plane what is in your inner world, it is pure magic, mental alchemy !

Improvising is also medicine for the soul, because you must focus so much on the present that it makes you forget about your problems, it makes your spirit fly, your emotions and your thoughts are directed towards a specific place, it is something wonderful.

I always advise musicians to improvise, it doesn't matter if they are not jazz players, or have never studied improvisation as such, the important thing is to create, to create is to live!

Making music is something natural to human beings, we are by nature artistic beings, but nowadays few dare to make art because they feel they are not good, and I tell them that it is not a question of whether you are a genius or not, it is that we need to make art to live, it is a fundamental part of our needs as human beings.

That's why I applaud this kind of initiatives that connect us with our most human side, the side of artistic creation, the Jamming Zone is a great opportunity to express ourselves and share with others.

Improvising with Venezuelan and Andalusian elements.

If we delve a little deeper into our musical roots, we will undoubtedly find Spain, many of the sound elements of Venezuela have their origin in Spanish lands, and therefore, its influence will always be present in our culture.

The Venezuelan merengue, has African and Indigenous elements, that exotic 5/8 meter that for many is still a musical debate, it was born in me to merge this Venezuelan style with the elements of Andalusian music, and resulted in this video.
