Semana 177 del HiveOpenMic. Elogios.

Un gusto saludar a todos los participantes, organizadores, moderados y patrocinadores del HiveOpenMic, nos encontramos actualmente en la Ronda 177 donde nuestro colega Hiver , espero disfrutes mucho ésta semana! Es un gran privilegio ser el artista destacado del HiveOpenMic.

Para ésta semana quise compartir una interpretación de una canción que me gusta muchísimo, se titula Rosario, una composición de los maestros Juan Vicente Torrealba y Ernesto Luis Rodríguez.

En ésta oportunidad me acompaña mi colega y hermano Diego "Coquito" García, quien lo considero un maestrísimo en el Cuatro Venezolano. Hicimos un arreglo bien interesante desde el punto de vista armónico, le metimos unas cadencias que son propias del Bolero a éste Vals Venezolano.

En el Dúo Capybara siempre hemos buscado agregar armonías nuevas y novedosas a nuestras interpretaciones, y ésta no fue la excepción.

La influencia del Bossa Nova, La Gaita, La Onda Nueva, El Jazz y entre otros géneros ha hecho que ambos podamos tener una amplia gama de sonoridades en nuestros gustos musicales y eso siempre lo aplicamos a nuestra forma de tocar.

Mis Elogios - Van a Dios, las mujeres y mis amigos.

Si hablamos de Elogios, podemos encontrarnos diversas fuentes de inspiración, tanto la devoción más espiritual que se le puede dar a un ser supremo como Dios, como ha seres queridos más cercanos, como nuestros familiares o amigos.

En ésta oportunidad canté una canción que ésta dirigida ha una mujer llamada "Rosario", la cual expresa un elogio musical hacia la figura femenina.

Ciertamente, una de mis principales musas suelen ser las mujeres, en su feminidad y su belleza consigo mucha inspiración, a veces cuando estoy tocando y cantando pienso en alguna mujer hermosa y éso me hace entrar en un estado de inspiración enorme.

Espero que disfruten de nuestra interpretación, un abrazo fraternal.

A pleasure to greet all participants, organizers, moderators and sponsors of the HiveOpenMic, we are currently in Round 177 where our colleague Hiver, I hope you enjoy this week! It is a great privilege to be the featured artist of the HiveOpenMic.

For this week I wanted to share an interpretation of a song that I like very much, it's called Rosario, a composition of the masters Juan Vicente Torrealba and Ernesto Luis Rodriguez.

In this opportunity I was accompanied by my colleague and brother Diego "Coquito" García, who I consider a master of the Venezuelan Cuatro. We made a very interesting arrangement from the harmonic point of view, we added some cadences that are typical of the Bolero to this Venezuelan Waltz.

My Praise - Goes to God, women and my friends.

If we talk about Praise, we can find several sources of inspiration, both the most spiritual devotion that can be given to a supreme being such as God, as well as to our closest loved ones, such as our family or friends.

In this opportunity I sang a song that is directed to a woman called "Rosario", which expresses a musical praise to the female figure.

Certainly, one of my main muses are usually women, in their femininity and their beauty I get a lot of inspiration, sometimes when I'm playing and singing I think of a beautiful woman and that makes me enter a state of enormous inspiration.

The influence of Bossa Nova, La Gaita, La Onda Nueva, Jazz and other genres has allowed both of us to have a wide range of sonorities in our musical tastes and we always apply that to our playing.
