Un cordial saludo a todos los participantes y organizadores del Hive Music Festival en la Semana N°3 - Primera Ronda. Estoy sumamente contento de haber ganado la edición pasada de las semanas 10, 11 y 12. Mis felicitaciones a la hermosa cantante @mirel0510 quién lo tiene más que merecido haber ganado.

Como siempre es un gusto estar por acá y compartir mi quehacer musical con todos, siempre lo he dicho y es que me siento en familia al presentarme por acá! Y trato en lo posible de hacer el mejor contenido posible, a veces me falla la electricidad, la computadora, los ruidos de fondo, el internet, se me rompe una cuerda, no me sale bien la grabación, etc... Se ve fácil pero realmente es un reto el hacer las cosas bien hechas!!!

Comenzaré ésta edición con una pieza del gran Antonio Lauro, es una Gaita escrita para guitarra (posiblemente, una de las pocas Gaitas Venezolanas escritas para guitarra solista) titulada Nelly.

En la partitura, aparece que está dedicada a "Nelly de Afanador" pero no conseguí información sobre ella en internet, por lo que para mí es un misterio! Sin embargo, me parece una pieza extraordinaria.

Ésta pieza me trae buenos recuerdos porque me la acompañaba un amigo cuatrista el cuál tocaba de una manera increíble, sobretodo la Gaita Zuliana que es uno de los géneros más complejos a nivel armónico y rítmico de nuestro país.

He notado que nuevas personas están llegando a Hive, y me gusta la idea que el sitio esté creciendo, tengo una corazonada en que vendrán más festivales y eventos geniales que nos ayudarán a crecer personal, artistica y financieramente.

He tenido la necesidad de cambiar de editor de video debido a fallas que tenía mi computadora con el programa, he utilizado Windows Movie Maker para ésta ocasión.

A warm greeting to all the participants and organizers of the Hive Music Festival in Week N°3 - First Round. I am extremely happy to have won the last edition of weeks 10, 11 and 12. My congratulations to the beautiful singer @mirel0510 who has more than deserved to have won.

As always it's a pleasure to be here and share my musical work with everyone, I've always said that I feel like I'm part of a family here! And I try as much as possible to make the best possible content, sometimes the electricity fails, the computer, background noises, the internet, a string breaks, the recording doesn't come out well, etc... **It looks easy but it's really a challenge to get things done right!

I will start this edition with a piece by the great Antonio Lauro, it is a Gaita written for guitar (possibly one of the few Venezuelan Gaitas written for solo guitar) titled Nelly.

In the score, it appears that it is dedicated to "Nelly de Afanador" but I didn't get any information about her on the internet, so for me it's a mystery! However, I think it is an extraordinary piece.

This piece brings back good memories because I was accompanied by a cuatrist friend of mine who played in an incredible way, especially the Gaita Zuliana which is one of the most complex harmonic and rhythmic genres of our country.

I have noticed that new people are coming to Hive, and I like the idea that the site is growing, I have a hunch that there will be more festivals and great events that will help us grow personally, artistically and financially.

*I have had the need to change video editor due to failures that my computer had with the program, I have used Windows Movie Maker for this occasion.
