Cordiales saludos al Hive Music Festival, entramos en la semana 17 en la Segunda Ronda, vaya que éste evento se está poniendo con el pasar del tiempo muchísimo más interesante, esperemos que las sorpresas y la música de calidad se mantengan como las banderas de éste evento tan maravilloso.

Desde hace unos días he estado en una búsqueda por superar mis limitaciones musicales, me refiero a elevar mi nivel de manera técnica e interpretativamente, y solamente puedo conseguir éso retándome a tocar piezas que para mí resultan ser complicadas.

Por éso para ésta Ronda Número 2 del #hmf, quise interpretar Las Abejas de Agustín Barrios Mangoré, ésta pieza es algo que no importa a quién se la toque o en donde la toque, nunca pasa desapercibida, y es que la musicalidad de ésta obra junto con su exigencia técnica la hacen una obra maestra del gran compositor Paraguayo.

Agustín Barrios Mangoré es un personaje muy importante en la historia de la guitarra solista de latinoamerica, su vida es un ejemplo de como la vocación y la entrega por el trabajo artístico nos puede llevar a cruzar fronteras para buscar un mejor lugar para nuestro trabajo.

Agustín Barrios nació en Paraguay, pero su manera de componer y hacer música no fue muy bien recibido por su pueblo (Nadie es profeta en su propia tierra), pero él estaba 100% seguro de que sus composiciones y su música eran grandiosas y por éso salió de las fronteras paraguayas a buscar un mejor porvenir.

Agustín Barrios al igual que muchos grandes músicos y artistas que he llegado a conocer tienen ése elemento que debemos desarrollar todos los que hacemos vida artística y es la plena confianza en lo que hacemos, pero ésto resulta difícil de lograr cuando nos topamos con el muro de las dudas, de los comentarios ajenos, de la aceptación del otro, de los problemas financieros...

Por éso, muy pocos artísticas llegan a trascender las barreras del tiempo y el espacio e inmortalizarse a través de sus obras, por ende, admiro enormemente a Agustín Barrios que a pesar del rechazo de su país, logró llevar sus composiciones a mejores escenarios.

Hoy en día, Agustín Barrios es un compositor obligatorio para cualquier persona que estudie Guitarra en un Conservatorio Superior, la música para guitarra de Barrios se toca en todas partes del mundo.

Warm greetings to the Hive Music Festival, we are entering week 17 in the Second Round, wow this event is getting more and more interesting as time goes by, let's hope that surprises and quality music will remain as the flags of this wonderful event.

Since a few days ago I have been on a quest to overcome my musical limitations, I mean to raise my level technically and interpretatively, and I can only achieve that by challenging myself to play pieces that for me turn out to be complicated.

That's why for this Round Number 2 of the #hmf, I wanted to play Las Abejas de Agustín Barrios Mangoré, this piece is something that no matter who you play it to or where you play it, it never goes unnoticed, and the musicality of this piece together with its technical demand make it a masterpiece of the great Paraguayan composer.

Agustín Barrios Mangoré is a very important character in the history of the solo guitar in Latin America, his life is an example of how the vocation and dedication to artistic work can lead us to cross borders to find a better place for our work.

Agustin Barrios was born in Paraguay, but his way of composing and making music was not very well received by his people (Nobody is a prophet in his own land), but he was 100% sure that his compositions and his music were great and that is why he left the Paraguayan borders to look for a better future.

Agustin Barrios like many great musicians and artists that I have come to know have that element that all of us who make artistic life must develop and that is the full confidence in what we do, but this is difficult to achieve when we run into the wall of doubts, of the comments of others, of the acceptance of others, of financial problems...

That is why very few artists manage to transcend the barriers of time and space and immortalize themselves through their works, therefore, I greatly admire Agustín Barrios who despite the rejection of his country, managed to take his compositions to better stages.

Today, Agustin Barrios is a mandatory composer for anyone who studies guitar in a conservatory, Barrios' guitar music is played all over the world.
