Estoy de vuelta con más música!

Hay un refrán que siempre me ha causado gracia y es el siguiente: "No estaba muerto, andaba de parranda" y así es exactamente como me siento ahora, he estado bastante ocupado organizando mi vida y terminando algunos asuntos que tenia pendiente, por esa razón estuve un par de semanas inactivo en las publicaciones.

Sin embargo, la música es mi fuente principal de ingresos económicos y siempre estoy haciendo algo con relación a ella, desde enseñar hasta hacer arreglos musicales o componer, los músicos en Venezuela somos polifacéticos y un solo músico puede abarcar una gran cantidad de áreas laborales.

Desde hace años hago arreglos musicales, sobretodo de música instrumental venezolana, y quise compartir este que todavía no he estrenado porque me gusta mucho como quedo. Es un arreglo de un legendario bolero, Sabor a mí de Alvaro Carrillo.

Mi vida como arreglista y compositor

Como mi nombre de usuario lo dice, soy principalmente guitarrista, y gracias al cielo tengo la oportunidad de vivir de esto que es una gran pasión en mi vida, sin embargo, sueño con crear obras sinfónicas y arreglos para Orquestas, y en esto he trabajado paralelamente.

Siempre he admirado las figuras de los grandes compositores como Bach, Debussy, Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Palestrina... Son modelos a seguir para mí.

En esta oportunidad, hice un arreglo para formato Alma Llanera que consta de los siguientes instrumentos: Arpa, Bandola, Mandolina, Contrabajo, Cuatro, Maracas y Guitarra.

Existen otras variantes de esta Orquesta incluyendo desde Clarinetes hasta Mandolas. Este arreglo requiere de un nivel de lectura avanzado y de una gran calidad técnica e interpretativa, hay fragmentos que son complicados pero me encanta como salieron.

I'm back with more music!

There is a saying that has always been funny to me and it is the following: "I wasn't dead, I was on a spree" and that's exactly how I feel now, I have been quite busy organizing my life and finishing some things I had pending, for that reason I was a couple of weeks inactive in publications.

However, music is my main source of income and I am always doing something related to it, from teaching to arranging music or composing, musicians in Venezuela are multifaceted and a single musician can cover a lot of areas of work.

For years I have been arranging music, especially Venezuelan instrumental music, and I wanted to share this one that I have not yet released because I really like the way it looks. It is an arrangement of a legendary bolero, **Sabor a mí by Alvaro Carrillo.

My life as an arranger and composer

As my user name says, I am mainly a guitarist, and thank heaven I have the opportunity to live from this which is a great passion in my life, however, I dream of creating symphonic works and arrangements for Orchestras, and in this I have worked in parallel.

I have always admired the figures of the great composers such as Bach, Debussy, Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Palestrina.... They are role models for me.

In this opportunity, I made an arrangement for Alma Llanera format consisting of the following instruments: Harp, Bandola, Mandolin, Double Bass, Maracas and Guitar.

There are other variations of this orchestra including Clarinets and Mandolas. This arrangement requires an advanced level of reading and a great technical and interpretative quality, there are fragments that are complicated but I love how they turned out.
