    About :

Back in 2019 Nvidia uploaded their drivers to allow for Pascal based cards (the 1000 series and 16xx cards) to run raytracing. I finally have a Pascal card that's capable of taking advantage of it, so I decided to torture my GTX 1070 a little by running a couple of games I own that support raytracing.
You'll see that some of them straight up refused to allow me to turn on raytracing whilst the ones that did... didn't run particularly all too well. I wish I had more RTX-capable games to test, but unfortunately this is all - there are still interesting results here and it was totally fun to do.

This is also my first foray into doing a full on video-based post, and while it's not the best (far from it), I'm still a tad little bit proud. Hopefully I can keep going and improving my skills.

The specs on the rig I used for this video are:
    i5 8400
    GTX 1070
    16GB dual channel RAM
    Games installed on a 480GB SSD and a 1TB 7200RPM HDD.
