Happy Easter Monday to each and everyone of us.
Hope we all had a nice Easter celebration, as for me, I went to church and I had a lot of fun in church.
Okay for this weeks entry, I will be presenting a popular hymn that we all know titled " The Old Rugged Cross" .
In church during the sermons and the teaching specifically, I heard lots about the cross which few are: the cross gets us reconciliation with Christ, the cross is where we take our shames, trials, tribulations, worries and struggle to and get a crown of glory, peace of mind and joy as well as happiness.
That old Rugged Cross is where all our sins was been nailed and someone offered to pay the price. Something me and you never would have done no matter how we would have been convinced.
All we need to do is to cling to that cross, and cherish the cross and also believe, when that happens our salvation is sure.
Cherish and cling to the old Rugged Cross and live freely, do not struggle for anything because all the provisions we need had already been supplied.
Thank you and stay Healthy as always 😊.
[Lyrics]
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross
The emblem of suffering and shame
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross (rugged cross)
Till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it some day for a crown
To the old rugged cross I will ever be true
It's shame and reproach gladly bear
Then he'll call me some day to my home far away
Where his glory forever I'll share
And I'll cherish the old rugged cross (rugged cross)
Till my trophies at last I lay down
And I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it some day for a crown
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it some day for a crown
