Good morning everyone,

It is wonderful being here again this week and I want to welcome you all to yet another week of hive open mic which is week 140. The theme for this week is a very special one which made me smile when I saw the title. Big shout out to @thelooter for choosing such an amazing topic for this week. The theme for this week is The sea (Caribbean) and for that I will be singing the song How Far I'll Go by Auli'i Cravalho. This song was sang in the movie Moana and I suppose most of us would have seen the movie. Its about a girl drawn to the sea(the water) and even though it was against the rules of her village, she wanted to explore the ocean. It always call her and its like its where she belong and meant to be.

This particular song is the main song of the movie and its about how much she wanted to explore the waters. She knows if she goes, she will go far because its been her dream ever since she was a young girl. Eventually, she explore the sea and fulfilled her dream. Doing this made her save the ocean and her village in return. That is why I choose the song for the theme for this week. I also want to use the song to encourage us to always take that risk. Don't be too scared of loosing and then you decide to stay in one position. Life is all about risks and if you never try, you will never move forward.

Buenos días a todos,

Es maravilloso estar aquí nuevamente esta semana y quiero darles la bienvenida a todos a otra semana de micrófono abierto de Hive, que es la semana 140. El tema de esta semana es muy especial y me hizo sonreír cuando vi el título. Un gran agradecimiento a @thelooter por elegir un tema tan increíble para esta semana. El tema de esta semana es El mar (Caribe) y para eso cantaré la canción Hasta dónde llegaré de Auli'i Cravalho. Esta canción se cantó en la película Moana y supongo que la mayoría de nosotros habríamos visto la película. Se trata de una niña atraída por el mar (el agua) y, aunque estaba en contra de las reglas de su pueblo, quería explorar el océano. Siempre la llama y es como si fuera donde pertenece y donde debe estar.

Esta canción en particular es la canción principal de la película y trata sobre cuánto deseaba explorar las aguas. Sabe que si va, llegará lejos porque ha sido su sueño desde que era una niña. Finalmente, exploró el mar y cumplió su sueño. Hacer esto la hizo salvar el océano y su pueblo a cambio. Por eso elijo la canción para el tema de esta semana. También quiero usar la canción para animarnos a tomar siempre ese riesgo. No tengas miedo de perder y luego decides quedarte en una posición. La vida se trata de riesgos y si nunca lo intentas, nunca avanzarás.
