I want to welcome you all to Hive Open Mic Week 124. The theme for this week is Moonshine and I choose the song Leave a light on by Tom Walker. I could remember the first day I heard that song, I was literally crying because it touched every part of my soul. From the definition of Moonshine which is ray of light from the moon, I interpret it to be a place of solace. The help you get when you’re in your darkest place. It shines on you and gives you hope and make you whole again. This can be liken to the friend singing this song. Telling that friend that he/she will be his/her moonlight and that giving up should never be an option.

There are people around us in desperate need of a moonshine, and all it will take might be a phone call, a text message or a visit. By doing this, we might just save their lives thus be owing their very own moonshine. Let us plan to be one for them. I do hope you enjoy this cover of mine.

Quiero darles la bienvenida a todos a Hive Open Mic Week 124. El tema de esta semana es Moonshine y elijo la canción Leave a light on de Tom Walker. Podía recordar el primer día que escuché esa canción, estaba literalmente llorando porque tocó cada parte de mi alma. De la definición de Moonshine, que es un rayo de luz de la luna, lo interpreto como un lugar de consuelo. La ayuda que recibes cuando estás en tu lugar más oscuro. Brilla sobre ti y te da hogar y te hace completo de nuevo. Esto se puede comparar con el amigo que canta esta canción. Decirle a ese amigo que será su luz de luna y que rendirse nunca debe ser una opción.

Hay personas a nuestro alrededor que necesitan desesperadamente un alcohol ilegal, y todo lo que se necesita puede ser una llamada telefónica, un mensaje de texto o una visita. Al hacer esto, podríamos salvarles la vida y, por lo tanto, estar debiendo su propio alcohol ilegal. Planeemos ser uno para ellos. Espero que disfruten de esta portada mía.
