In the summer of 2021, I had the chance to travel with my girlfriend to Malapascua Island, an island in the northern part of Cebu. It was my first time and I fell in love with the island! It was small. The roads were narrow but the people were helpful and friendly. The beaches were white-sand and the highlight of the trip was the island hopping.
In this sneak peek video, I've shown the enjoyable boat ride to the island and arriving at their impressive port. I was shocked to see the water so clear and full of fish. I was thinking of jumping off the railings and just swimming.
After setting our things at our lovely accommodation, Romantic Place Guest House, we headed off for the Island Hopping. The first stop was Dakit-Dakit Island which was were a group of rock islands near the main port. The current there was so strong that I didn't dare swim. The next destination was the Coral Gardens. I was able to swim around and appreciate the beautiful corals until I saw a sea snake. We moved on to Langub Beach, a long strength of white-sand beach on the northern part of the island. For our last stop, we saw the Japanese Sunken Ship.
The video doesn't show a lot of details but in my future posts of this trip, I'll be sure to chronicle each of the exciting parts. See you in the next post. Cheers!
