In this opportunity I bring you an Oriental Aguinaldo, Folklore Music from Cumaná - Sucre State, Lyrics: Maestro Hernán Marín, we have already talked about Maestro Hernán, he is one of the most important exponents in the country. The King of the Chorus, Living Cultural Heritage of Eastern Venezuela, was born in Marin, October 6, 1940, from a very young age he participates in parranda groups projecting, disseminating and preserving the intangible cultural heritage of the nation, specifically its roots of Cumana.

Hernán Marín, gives us a great testimony with his recorded songs through four volumes of collection, where he offers the most important genres of the State of Sucre, most of them unpublished material created by the Master, making an exemplary walk through different musical genres, such as: El Joropo con Estribillo, Merengue Oriental, Gaitas, Polos, Malagueñas, Jotas, among others....

His music is mostly traditional and once recorded an album of Boleros, dominating other genres of music, seeks to represent the authentic and genuine of the State of Sucre, being an excellent reference in our country.
I leave you the song No hay quien lo tumbe, mentioned at the beginning of my publication and posted on YouTube to present it exclusively for all of you, also with the authorization of Maestro Hernán Marín who gladly gave us the lyrics to assemble, play, record, disseminate and promote it, taking advantage of the Christmas season that has just begun.

Besides, as one of the characteristics of this musical style is that it is very lively, cheerful and contagious with Aguinaldo Estribilla'o rhythm, a little bit because of the strumming that is used with the right hand in the Venezuelan Cuatro, very different from the aguinaldo that we know in Caracas and the rest of Venezuela. It is composed of stanzas of 4 hexasyllabic verses with consonant rhymes, which are made in the form of couplets.

No hay quien los tumbe, tells the story of a group of parranderos singing to the baby Jesus who go knocking on the door from house to house in the villages, enjoying the joy, music and sharing with people, usually these parrandas lasted up to 3 or 4 days at Christmas time, nowadays they have disappeared. They are still held but more in the intimacy of the home. Let's work together so that the tradition does not die and every family in Venezuela, contribute a grain of sand to preserve our identity, also, continue singing to the baby Jesus in the years to come, since, this cultural fact serves as a tool to strengthen ties of union between friends, family and maintain the essence of our Venezuelanness.
