Greetings dear Hive Open Mic community, we are in week #150 with the theme "Our virtue", thanks to our featured artists @musicandreview "Dina and Omar". In this opportunity, I am joined as special guest and collaborator @manuelmusic, apart, my great friends and colleagues Tulimary Garcia and Miguel Regalado.

In this opportunity, I wanted to bring the musical genre: Calypso, entitled "Guayana es", recorded by the Agrupación Folclórica CONVENEZUELA and composed in 1966 by Madame María Lourdes Basanta "Lulú Basanta", great singer of the town of Callao, Bolivar State, born in 1932, showing since very young her virtue in singing, her character and determination to lead the carnival troupes. In particular, it seems pertinent to show some virtues in union with my friends, for example, it is interesting to enjoy the rhythm of the Bumbac executed by @manuelmusic, alternating with the Venezuelan cuatro by Maestro Miguel Regalado and my person in the interpretation with the execution of the rallo (typical of the town of Callao), on the other hand, in the cover photo you can appreciate some characters of the Carnival comparsa as they are: La negrita, las Madamas, Fantasías and El Minero, full of color and enthusiasm that accompanied me in the Octavita de Carnaval, celebrated today in Los Caobos Park, Caracas (see credits).

This calypso is made with much affection for all my people of Hive, in order to continue spreading our traditional Venezuelan music, extolling more and more every day to our culture and people who have left a great legacy full of virtues to continue creating multipliers in defense of our identity as Venezuelans. I hope you enjoy it...
