¡Saludos y bendiciones querida Comunidad de Hive, mi usuario @geronimamunoz, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un video del evento que acabo de realizar el 08 de marzo de los corrientes en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer. Me parece interesante traerlo a nuestra red como un aporte más para enriquecer nuestra música venezolana y darla a conocer en el mundo entero a través de nuestra gente.

En esta oportunidad, me acompañan músicos amigos que me siento honrada en nombrarlos para continuar la labor de visibilizar a los Cultores de Venezuela. En la mandolina y coros el Maestro William García, oriundo de El Tigre, Estado Anzóategui, llevando al mismo tiempo, la Dirección y Arreglos del repertorio. Así mismo, está presente el Maestro José Martínez, nacido en Cumaná, Estado Sucre, acaba de cumplir 81 años de edad, llamado “El Maraquero de Oro”, bautizado de esa manera por nuestro querido Remigio “Morocho” Fuentes, quien nos acompañará siempre desde el cielo, recientemente partió dejándonos un gran legado en relación al Joropo Oriental. En la guitarra tenemos al Profesor Danilo Angulo, excelente instrumentista de cuerdas y en el cuatro venezolano Marco Mayaudón, todos con una gran calidad humana.

Aprovecho la oportunidad para felicitar y dar gracias al Museo de Arte Popular “Bárbaro Rivas” quien nos brindó los espacios para participar haciendo este homenaje a la Mujer, conjuntamente con la Red de Artesanas y Artesanos de Venezuela, quienes en paralelo mostraron una hermosa exposición de Muñecas de Trapos. Gracias a Clairet, Carmen Sofía y a todo el equipo.

En el video destaco la importancia de mantener nuestra identidad como venezolanos, al mismo tiempo, inicio con un poema creado para esta ocasión y hacemos una muestra de dos géneros importantes en nuestra música del oriente del país, específicamente Golpe de Arpa y Estribillo, el primero lo aprendí del Maestro Mónico Márquez quien lo canta magistralmente, el segundo lo hice de manera improvisada para saludar al público, explicando un poco el cambio rítmico del Golpe de Arpa que se mide a 3 por 4 y luego pasa a Estribillo con el 6 por 8, es maravilloso sentirlo y experimentar nuestra gran diversidad musical con sus compases amalgamados y de gran complejidad.

Greetings and blessings dear Hive Community, my user @geronimamunoz, today I want to share with you a video of the event that I just made on March 8 of this year in the framework of the International Women's Day. I find it interesting to bring it to our network as a contribution to enrich our Venezuelan music and make it known around the world through our people.

In this opportunity, I was accompanied by musician friends that I feel honored to name them to continue the work of making visible the Cultores de Venezuela. In the mandolin and choirs, Maestro William Garcia, a native of El Tigre, Anzóategui State, is in charge of the Direction and Arrangements of the repertoire. In the video I emphasize the importance of maintaining our identity as Venezuelans, at the same time, I start with a poem created for this occasion and we make a sample of two important genres in our music from the east of the country, specifically Golpe de Arpa and Estribillo, the first one I learned from Maestro Mónico Márquez who sings it masterfully, The second I did it in an improvised way to greet the public, explaining a little the rhythmic change of the Golpe de Arpa that is measured at 3 by 4 and then passes to Estribillo with the 6 by 8, it is wonderful to feel it and experience our great musical diversity with its amalgamated measures and of great complexity.
