This week's #openmic theme is "Colorful" which was chosen by @mipiano. Of course we know who she is, from her name we already know she is a pianist. Because if she was a Drummer her name would be "Midrum" not Mipiano. Lol 😂 (just kidding). She is one of the greats in the #hiveopenmic community.

El tema #openmic de esta semana es "Colorido", elegido por @mipiano. Por supuesto que sabemos quién es, por su nombre ya sabemos que es pianista. Porque si ella fuera baterista, su nombre sería "Midrum", no Mipiano. Jajaja 😂 (es broma). Es una de las grandes de la comunidad #hiveopenmic.

On this week's occasion, I cover a song that was a hit in the early 90s. The band's name is "The Pretenders" with the title track "I'll stand by you". This song was covered by "Rod Stewart" in 2006.

En la ocasión de esta semana, hago una versión de una canción que fue un éxito a principios de los 90. El nombre de la banda es "The Pretenders" con la canción principal "I'll stand by you". Esta canción fue versionada por "Rod Stewart" en 2006.

Pretenders are an English-American rock band formed in Hereford, England, in March 1978, emerging from the British post punk movement. The band evolved into a mainly four-piece 'outfit' and has experienced numerous personnel changes, with Chrissie Hynde as the only consistent member.

The lyrics of the song I'll Stand By You tell about a person who promises to always be there for the people she loves under any circumstances. She tries to help him through his dark life. She will always side with the person she loves, even when her partner makes a mistake, she will never leave. This female figure is like someone in my life who has always faithfully accompanied me from my dark life until now my colorful life.
