Zombie - the Cranberries || Rock instrumental [guitar cover]

Nice to see you again on this platform that I love so much.
In this post, I cover the guitar from the band The Cranberries, entitled "zombie". In this video I improvise by adding a guitar solo arrangement at the end of the song.

The song Zombie, often seen as a masterpiece of The Cranberries, an Irish rock band known for their bitter tones, deepens with O'Riordan's signature sound.

Zombies themselves were born of tragedy.

As I've read, Zombie was created by O'Riordan after hearing about the bombing that killed two children in England in March 1993.

Released in September 1994, Zombies went on to become the most successful song from The Cranberries. In Germany, Australia and France the song topped the charts. In the United States, Zombies topped the alternative rock charts.

But O'Riordan's lyrics were criticized by some. He was accused of being naive and taking sides in a conflict that he did not understand at all.

Speaking of the song "Zombie", I have a personal funny story. When I first heard the song, I thought this song was about a group of zombie-killing humans like in the movie "Resident Evil". Hehehe, how innocent I was then. After doing a bit of searching & searching, I finally found out that this song actually wanted to talk about humanitarian issues in Northern Ireland.

The Cranberries made the song to tell us about the negative effects of conflict & bloodshed. Hopefully these incidents and events do not happen again. Greetings of peace.
