Gugur bunga (flower fall) - indonesian patriotic anthem

This time I want to cover an Indonesian patriotic song entitled 'gugur bunga'(flower fall).
I made this video during the tragedy of the sinking of the Indonesian navy submarine.

Grief enveloped Indonesia after the submarine KRI Nanggala-402 was declared sunk and the crew of 53 people were declared dead.
Before being declared sunk, the German-made submarine was reported to have lost contact on April 22, 2021 in the early hours of the morning while conducting exercises in the waters north of the island of Bali.
The condition of the ship split into three parts and sank at a depth of 838 meters below sea level.

The nuance of sadness becomes the distinctive character of the song "Gugur Bunga", according to the lyrics, which are full of sadness because of the loss of a hero who defends the nation. The song with the full title “Gugur bunga ditaman bakti” was written by Ismail Marzuki in 1945, not long after Indonesia's independence.

I dedicate this video to the navy soldiers of the Republic of Indonesia who were victims of the KRI Nanggala 402 submarine, Rest in peace.
