    ENGLISH.

Learn With Gabo is one of my favorite sections of my blog. This section serves to teach you how to make plasticine figurines, either through video tutorials or written text accompanied by images.

For this section I decided to continue with the previous one, where I made a Bulbasaur chibi. The idea is to finish the 3 main pokemon, so now it's time for a Chibi Charmander. I hope this videotutorial is to your liking, enjoy it.

Note. The audio of the video is only in Spanish

    Additional words:

I have always been a big Pokemon fan. I remember when I was a kid I used to make a lot of figurines of these characters to play with, because I didn't have too many toys. When I was older I started collecting figurines similar to these pokemons, but I found out that they were not pokemons but digimons, that's when my love for this other franchise began, but that's another story.

Over time, I continued to hone my sculpting skills and got to make very nice figures of characters like Lugia, Mewtwo and Gyarados. They are great characters and relatively easy to make, so I find it practical to teach you how to make figurines with these characters.

The Bulbasaur from the previous installment was a figurine I made for a gift, so I don't have it with me, this one I plan to give as a gift so as soon as I finish all 3 characters I won't have a chance to take a picture of all 3 together; however I plan to finish these 3 initial Pokemons.

If you have seen the franchise you will know that there are more than 150 Pokemons, so I could easily try to make all these characters in this section, but in order not to be repetitive I will finish Squirtle and continue with other types of characters, although I don't rule out coming back with Pokemon in the future.

To make this figurine I didn't use a wire skeleton, being a solid plasticine figurine I only used a wooden support; that is, wooden sticks embedded in the plasticine to keep the head, tail and legs fixed. The plasticine will harden so the sticks are sufficient support for the figurine.

Unlike in previous occasions, I did not use an anime or polystyrene base, to cover it with plasticine. For the charmander I only used plasticine and the aforementioned supports. For figures of this size it is not necessary to use that kind of supports; unless the body is very small and the head very big, in that case a big head made only of plasticine would cause a disproportion in the weight of the figure and would make it fall.

But in this case, the charmander's head is not too big, so it can be made entirely of plasticine and there is no problem. I also did not use glue to attach pieces, because the plasticine will adhere perfectly to each other so that all the pieces are completely fused together with the help of the wooden sticks.

As you can see it is a very nice figure that we can all try to make at home. It may not look the same, but the intention is to practice. As a spoiler, later on I will make Squirtle, so wait for it....

Well friends, that's all for now. I sincerely hope that my publication has been to your liking. I invite you to leave your opinions below in the comments, as always I will be happy to read them. Thank you for watching the video, without further ado, I'll say goodbye then....

    See you next time!
