Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Fungus Flinger

Greetings to all, fellow splinterlands and art lovers. Today I come to share with you my participation in the splinterlands art contest. In this contest we are invited to participate by creating cool art inspired by the game and we are given options, not only drawing but also sculpture and other artistic manifestations. In my case, I again leaned towards sculpture.

This time I wanted to make a character that caught my attention as soon as I saw him, because he's kind of cute but it looks like he can be deadly as well. His name is Fungus Fingler.

This Fungus Fingler is great, I liked his design and I wanted to see if I could make him in 3D, as a sculpture.

I recorded the whole creative process of the figure in a video, where I show you every step I followed to make this figure from the raw material I usually use, plasticine. The video includes from the creation of the wire support to the final finishing touches, so don't miss any detail.

Saludos a todos, compañeros amantes del arte y de splinterlands. Hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes mi participación en el concurso de arte de splinterlands. En este concurso se nos invita a participar creando un arte genial inspirado en el juego y nos dan opciones, no solamente dibujo sino escultura y otras manifestaciones artísticas. En mi caso, me incliné otra vez hacia la escultura.

Esta vez quise hacer un personaje que me llamó mucho la atención apenas lo vi, porque es algo tierno pero se ve que puede ser mortífero también. Su nombre es Fungus Fingler.

Este lanzador de hongos es genial, me gustó su diseño y quise ver si podría hacerlo en 3D, como escultura.

Grabé todo el proceso creativo de la figura en un video, en donde les muestro cada paso que seguí para hacer esta figura a partir de la materia prima que suelo usar, plastilina. El video comprende desde la creación del soporte de alambre hasta los últimos acabados, así que no se pierdan ningún detalle.
