    Extasiado me quedé
Y vuelvo a ver mi flor

Week 153 You are with me. Cover Viajera del Río

A pleasure to greet you to this Hive Open Mic! Community, and share this beautiful Venezuelan Waltz written by Manuel Yanez. Researching a little about this lyric, it says that he stood on the boardwalk to see the river and observed a flower, called Water Lily or better known as bora, and dedicated this beautiful lyric in that inspiration.

I can think that the theme of this week 153 is "you are with me", and I direct it to think that the flower can be a person that we can no longer physically stop, because the river took her with its current, but I keep approaching the boardwalk because I want to remember her and keep her with me, as a beautiful link in my heart and in my thoughts.
I hope you like this week's interpretation. And may we hug a lot to those we love who are present in our lives, take advantage of all the time possible.
    River Traveler

    Once upon a time
    Along the boardwalk
    I was ecstatic
When I saw a flower perfuming the river
    It was angelic
    Like orange blossom
    And it ran and ran
Looking for the horizon it was lost
    I wanted to touch her
    I wanted to embrace her
I wanted to love her like you
As if I were a magician
To contain the force of the river
    And it was hiding
    And he went away
    Then it disappeared
    Years went by
And the arcane time took her away from me
    That's why in my dreams
    When I remember her
Sadly I go to the boardwalk
To see if the river changes its current
And I see my flower again
    I wanted to touch her
    I wanted to hug her
I wanted to love her like I love you
As if I were a magician
To contain the force of the river
    And it was hiding
    And she went away
    Then she disappeared
Years went by and the arcane time took her away from me
    That's why in my dreams
    When I remember her
I always go to the boardwalk
    To see if the river
Changes its current and I see again
    My flower
