This time, my post will be very short because I want to show you part of the funicular to climb Monserrate.

If you remember, in the past days I showed you in several presentations the adventure I lived in Colombia.

Today I want to share MY FIRST VIDEO ON 3SPEAK and I wanted to start with this one.

I hope you like it and travel with me through this very peculiar means of transport in Bogota.

Mis queridos #Hivetravelers En esta oportunidad, mi publicación será muy corta porque quiero mostrarles parte del funicular para subir a Monserrate. Si recordarán, en días pasados les mostré en varias presentaciones la aventura vividas en Colombia. Hoy les quiero compartir MI PRIMER VIDEO EN 3SPEAK y quería iniciar con este. Espero que les agrade y viaje conmigo a través de este medio de transporte muy peculiar en Bogotá.

Climbing Monserrate

To make a long story short, Monserrate is a hill located in Bogotá where you can find several activities; the main attraction is religious because it is the church of Our Lady of Monserrate, being an obligatory destination for the celebration of Holy Week and the Stations of the Cross.

It also serves as an escape for families as there are places to eat and buy handicrafts.

Nature and sport lovers also have their space in Monserrate, since it is an ideal place for physical activities and a great part of the city of Bogota can be seen.

To climb the hill, there are three alternatives: walking, cable car and funicular.

This last one, the first time I saw it, is like a cable car but instead of going through the air, it goes by land. It is made of glass so we can all appreciate the ascent and it goes inside the mountain.

I loved this experience and here I share it with you.

Subiendo Monserrate Haciendo el cuento corto, Monserrate es un cerro ubicado en Bogotá dónde se encuentran varias actividades; la principal atracción es religiosa porque está la iglesia de nuestra señora de Monserrate, siendo destino obligatorio en la celebración de la semana santa y su viacrucis. Además, sirve de escape para las familias ya que se encuentran sitios para comer y comprar artesanía. Los amantes de la naturaleza y el deporte, también tienen su espacio en Monserrate ya que se aprecia gran parte de la ciudad de Bogotá y es ideal para actividades físicas.

Para subir al cerro, existen tres alternativas: caminando, en teleférico y funicular. Éste último, primera vez que lo veía y es como un teleférico pero en vez de ir por el aire, va por tierra. Es de vidrio así que todos apreciamos la subida y va por dentro de la Montaña. Me encantó esta experiencia y aquí se las comparto.
