Here I talk about the importance to simplify the user experience and make it easy to use both Hive and the tools in affiliate marketing.

Hi there and welcome to my vlog, my name is Erik Gustafsson and I go by the handle @flaxz on 3speak, CTPtalk and Hive.

Simplifying - The User Experience On Hive - And In Affiliate Marketing

So most of us on Hive knows that it takes quite a bit of learning to start using Hive, and even though we have made quite a bit of strides to make it easier, especially the onboarding through Hive Onboard, Hive is not as easy to use as centralized social media.

This is also the case in affiliate marketing, and I learned today helping someone get started doing the Scavenger Hunt in ClickTrackProfit for the #LUkeIsAlive contest that it's not as straight forward to get started than what I thought, especially for someone without any prior experience in affiliate marketing.

Which is also why I made a guide with the fastest way to get started from scratch, Hunting For Luke? - How To Get Started, and they can then add listbuilding on top of this once they have got some traction, and video guides for that is readily available in CTP.

And back to Hive we have 5 keys and passwords to keep track of, and also authentication solutions such as Hive Keychain, Hivesigner and PeakLock, and these are things that newcomers needs to learn before they start posting.

The important thing for successful onboarding, both on Hive and in affiliate marketing is that it's easy to start.

This is best done with a combination of an easy and straight forward way to start, and to work on improving that as much as possible, plus also to have readily available guides for people to follow, and that they are available where they are needed, either directly or by linking to them at the points where people need them.

That is how we onboard the masses, and actually get them to continue using it once here, it's how we make sure that most people just won't give up half way through.
