Hello 3speak and CTPtalk, this is Erik Gustafsson, @flaxz on Steem, 3speak and CTPtalk, and in this video I talk about #TwitterSlap and why it's so important with decentralization.

So yesterday evening I was unable to post and retweet anything on Twitter, I do not know if this was due to a block or if it was a technical issue, but more people on Steem had the same issue while others where unaffacted.

Today it has come back and I am once again able to use it, but so far I have not seen an explanation from Twitter about it, but it does look quite suspicious though.

This is exactly why we need decentralized social media so much, with Steem you can post and interact without any worry of being blocked specifically because of it's decentralization, there is no single entity to stop you.

And in relation to affiliate marketing this becomes even more important with the centralized social media giants blocking both affiliate links and crypto in many cases.

So by using a decentralized blockchain like Steem to post your content you are protecting yourself and the content that you publish from being taken down.

This is my own personal opinion, do your own research before investing, and seek legal counsel if uncertain.
