Notorious Big - Scribble Fan Art Drawing [ENG-ESP]

Hello dear friends, how are you? I hope you are feeling very well, I had some commitments and days without drawing, so today I did a good exercise for my hands, drawing the legend of Rap: Notorius Big, one of the best rappers that has ever existed whose legacy remains today, together with Tupac Shakur, they marked an entire era and took rap to a new level. I have made this illustration on a purchase receipt, I am collecting several illustrations in that style and I have been able to sell some, many people have loved my work, I hope you do too. I leave you with the step by step explained briefly and also with a short video where you can see the drawing from start to finish, let's get started!

Hola queridos amigos que tal? espero que se encuentren muy bien, tuve algunos compromisos y días sin dibujar, así que hoy hice un buen ejercicio para las manos, dibujando a la leyenda del Rap: Notorius Big, uno de los mejores raperos que ha existido cuyo legado hoy permanece, junto a Tupac Shakur marcaron toda una época y llevaron al rap a un nuevo nivel. He realizado esta ilustración sobre un recibo de compra, estoy coleccionando varias ilustraciones en ese estilos y he podido vender algunas, a muchas personas les ha encantado mi trabajo, espero que a ustedes también. Los dejo con el paso a paso explicado de forma breve y también con un video corto donde se puede apreciar el dibujo de inicio a fin, comencemos!

It has been difficult for me to find some of those papers since I have not made large purchases and because not all purchase receipts look alike, there are some very small ones that I do not like to draw on, instead I prefer the larger ones, which are always from larger stores. Here I found this one that had a stain in the corners but that made it look more epic. With a pencil I sketched Big Notorious's face and then painted with a pen.

Me ha costado encontrar algunos de esos papeles ya que no he realizado grandes compras y porque no todos los recibos de compras se parecen, hay unos muy pequeños que no me gustan para dibujar, en su lugar prefiero los de mayor tamaño, que siempre son de tiendas mas grandes. Aquí encontré este que tenía una mancha por las esquinas pero eso lo hacía ver más épico. con un lápiz hice el boceto del rostro de Big Notorious para luego pintar con bolígrafo.

After finishing making the sketch I started using the pen from the center of the face, and from there I drew in a spiral throughout the face. Using a circular but bumpy line, so that it looked like a tangle.

Luego de terminar de hacer el boceto comencé a utilizar el bolígrafo desde el centro del rostro, y desde ahí fui dibujando en espiral por todo el rostro. Utilizando un trazo circular pero accidentado, para que se viera como un enredo.

I continued painting and drawing the rest of the parts. Although I am using pen ink, with the circular technique to darken certain areas I only have to apply the tip of the pen for longer, such as when I was drawing the sunglasses, since their lenses are black, this should be more noticeable. This way I am also drawing the lips and the rest of the face including the part that is darker.

Seguí pintando y dibujando el resto de las partes. Aunque etsoy usando la tinta del bolígrafo, con la técnica circular para oscurecer ciertas zonas solo debo aplicar más tiempo la punta del bolígrafo, como por ejemplo cuando estaba dibujan do los lentes de sol, ya que sus cristales son de color negro, esto se debía notar más. Aasí también voy dibujando los labios y el resto del rostro incluyendo la parte que es más oscura.

To finish, I repeated each and every one of the steps until I darkened very well with the pen. This way you can see the effect of the shadow very well on one side of the face, which helps give it volume and depth.

Para finalizar volví a repetir todos y cada uno de los pasos hasta oscurecer muy bien con el bolígrafo. Así se puede observar muy bien el efecto de la sombra en un lado del rostro, lo que ayuda a que tenga volumen y profundidad.

Thanks to this simple drawing technique and using this kind of paper, I think it is a very modern way of expressing art, I was able to bring together these hip hop legends through these illustrations which could be shared in many ways. Qué les ha parecido el resultado? gracias a esta simple técnica de dibujo y utilizando esta clase de papel, creo que es una forma muy moderna de expresar el arte, pude reunir a estas leyendas del hip hop a traves de estas ilustraciones las cuales se podrían compartir de muchas formas.
