    About :

    Hello lovely people....
Yesterday when i arrived in my hotel room its already past the lunch time. With the drama when i was check in going on, indont have any more energy left to go out of the room to find a restaurant to eat anymore. I decided to opened the Grab application to order some food to eat.

In that afternoon, i was in the mood to have some traditional food. So, i skipped the western flre
staurant that filled the grab menu and look for a restaurant that sell traditional food.

Then i found this restaurant called Gado Gado Surabaya Bu Watik. The restaurang located in Kuta area, which less than 1 km from my hotel. What a perfect place to buy my food so i dont have to wait for long till i can eat. I literally lost all of my energy. I am looking at their menu and oh boy, i got really confused because they sell so many things and all is traditional food.

    Some of their menu are:

    • Gado Gado Khaw Surabaya Bu Watik
    • Tahu Tek Surabaya
    • Mie Ayam Original
    • Nasi Pecal Ayam Goreng Khad Madiun
    • Special Nasi Pecal Ayan Bakar
    • Tempe Mendoan
    • Tipat Catok Telor
    • Ketoprak Telor Dadar Jakarta
    • Nasi Semur Tahu
    • Nasi Oseng
    • Nasi Ayan Saos Pedas
    • Kwetiaw
    • Molen Pisang
    • Karedok
    • Rice Chicken Karage
    • Chicken Katsu
    • Special Nasi Kuning Komplit Bumbu Habang Khas Banjar
    • Pecel
    • , etc.

So, what dis i choose to buy?

I saw something called Tipat Catok Telor and got curious immediately. I texted my friend that a local in Bali to make sure is that something safe for me to eat or not. I have never heard about the food or even the name. I am not a 4 legged animal eater so i need to be really careful to the new food that i have never heard of. But my friend texted me back and reassure me that its all vegetable and its pretty similar with Pecal and Ketoprak. After hearing my friend's reassurement, i decided to ord
er Tipat Catok for this time. Inistially, i crave Ketoprakor Gado Gado and the reason why i even look the re
staurant is because the Gado Gado in their name.

Not only Tipat Catok, i need to fill the 40.000 idr minimum order so i will get a 60% off discount (exclude delivery fee). So i have to buy another food to fill the minimum order. I look for something cheap so i choose Tahu Gejrot. I want to know what is the taste of Tahu Gejrot here. Will it be the same as what we have in my city? Is it better? Is it not good?

    Tipat Catok.
    Whats inside of Tipat Cantok?

    • Ketupat Rice Cake (Tipat )
    • Asparagus Bean
    • Beansprout
    • Water Spinach
    • Tofu
    • Peanut Sauce

Its really similar with pecal but i can feel some difference in the sauce.
    Price : 25.000 idr

    Tahu Gejrot.
For tahu gejrot, we can choose how much chili we wang to have inside of them and i choose to have 10 chili (the maximum are 15 chili).
It doesnt taste spicy ag all, sorry to say, i cant even finish them because to me the taste is so bland and boring.
    Price : 19.000 idr
I like the tipat cantok way more than this.
