Echando Raíces / Putting down roots

"Where you go, do as you see" was the advice my parents always gave me every time I was going to travel somewhere, and I always did.
A year ago I had to migrate, when I took the plane that was the phrase that accompanied me, time and days went by, the uncomfortable feeling of being in a strange place, of not finding myself, of thinking that I would no be able to cope with the situation was overwhelming.
Going through things, reading and searching, I found another phrase that said mor or less "Wherever you are, put down roots or try to do it".
I took my pencil and started scratching, the idea came up to make a character or characters that would unite where I come from and where I am and help me "take root"...
That´s how this first character LongHorn Bolívar was born.

"Donde fueres haz lo que vieres" fue el consejo que siempre me dieron mis padres cada vez que iba a viajar a algún lugar, y así lo hice siempre.
Desde hace un año me tocó migrar, al tomar el avión esa fue la frase que me acompañó, fue pasando el tiempo y los días, la sensación incómoda de estar en un lugar extraño, de no encontrarme, de pensar que no lograría sobrellevar la situación era agobiante.
Revisando cosas, leyendo, buscando, encontré otra frase que decía más o menos "Donde estés echa raíces o intenta hacerlo".
Tomé mi lápiz y empecé a rayar, surgió la idea de hacer un o unos personajes que unieran de donde vengo y donde estoy y me ayudaran a "echar raíces"...
Así surgió este primer personaje LongHorn Bolívar
