Hello friends of Hive and my great family of Hive Open Mic, I send a warm hug to all of you and I hope with all my heart that you are doing very well and that blessings are in every step you are taking. I join this week whose theme is a life lesson that we must learn and be aware of until the end of our days. I had already a little over a month without posting content as my obligations outside of Hive increase significantly but here I am to share music with you again.

Never give up... I'm sure most of us perceive time faster; one day is no longer enough for so many things we have to do, mainly to get our daily sustenance, so our attention, focus and energy are exclusively directed to be more productive and proactive in a world that demands too much in the work environment and that squeezes us so much that we can hardly see the fruit of it because everything is more expensive economically speaking.

We have become more routine than before, we get tired faster and the time to distract ourselves is reduced more and more; I recently commented to someone that undoubtedly the pandemic marked a before and after in humanity, because the exhaustion that we feel now and the stagnation of many things comes from the post-traumatic stress generated since that time that wreaked havoc on our emotions and substantially weakened our psychological defenses.

Despite the fact that we are animals of habit, we were able to get up and move forward, I say this because in the middle of 2023 with so many conflicts on the planet, we have been able to rehabilitate ourselves, balance ourselves and continue in the search for fulfillment in the midst of chaos.

Mental health is still the biggest challenge we have and it is still the Achilles heel of many to be able to support the brutal pace of life we lead. Now more than ever we must better prioritize our priorities so that anxiety and anguish do not destroy us; we must program the mind in terms of tranquility to make way again to positive thoughts and emotions that reinforce our achievements and successes. We are at a crucial moment in which if we do not believe in our talents, whatever we do will be in vain, very superficial, and destined to complete failure and frustration.

"Toxic Positivity", is the name of the 9th studio album of the emo-punk-alternative rock band The Used, released in May of this year and the song that I will play for you on guitar is the 2nd single from the album titled "Giving Up" whose music video was released 2 days ago and I leave it below for you to enjoy.

I chose this song because it is the opposite of the title of the album, but in spite of everything it invites us not to give up even if the darkness feels eternal. It is a very melodic song, with hints of electronic music and that projects very well the message of the song, giving us a sense of joy and hope through a soft, serene and strong voice.

I like the title of this new album of the band and is that positivity is something that we must emanate as a creative source and as an engine for our actions to have a clearer purpose and meaning ... remember that this positivity must come from love, because as I said weeks ago ... love is the only way ❤️!!!!

Hola amigos de Hive y de mi gran familia del Hive Open Mic, les mando un cálido abrazo a todos y espero de todo corazón que se encuentren muy bien y que las bendiciones estén en cada paso que estén dando. Me uno a esta semana cuya temática es una lección de vida que debemos aprender y tener consciente hasta el final de los días. Tenía ya un poco más de un mes sin publicar contenido ya que mis obligaciones por fuera de Hive aumentan significativamente pero aquí estoy para compartir música con ustedes nuevamente.

Nunca rendirnos... estoy seguro que la mayoría percibimos el tiempo más rápido; ya un día no es suficiente para tantas cosas que debemos hacer, principalmente para conseguir el sustento diario, por lo que nuestra atención, enfoque y energía se dirigen exclusivamente a ser más productivos y proactivos en un mundo que exige demasiado en el ámbito laboral y que nos exprime tanto que escasamente podemos ver el fruto de ello porque todo está más caro económicamente hablando.

Nos hemos vuelto más rutinarios que antes, nos cansamos más rápido y el tiempo para distraernos se reduce más y más; hace poco le comentaba a alguien que sin duda la pandemia marcó un antes y después en la humanidad, porque ese agotamiento que se siente ahorita y el estancamiento de muchas cosas proviene del estrés postraumático generado desde esa época que hizo estragos en nuestras emociones y debilitó sustancialmente nuestras defensas psicológicas.

Pese a que somos animales de costumbres, pudimos con todo lo que conlleva levantarnos y avanzar, digo esto porque en pleno 2023 con tantos conflictos en el planeta, hemos podido rehabilitarnos, equilibrarnos y seguir en la búsqueda de la plenitud en medio del caos.

La salud mental, sigue siendo el reto más grande que tenemos y es el talón de Aquiles de muchos todavía para poder soportar el ritmo de vida tan brutal que llevamos. Ahora más que nunca debemos jerarquizar mejor nuestras prioridades para que la ansiedad y la angustia no nos destruyan; debemos programar la mente en función de la tranquilidad para abrirle paso nuevamente a pensamientos y emociones positivas que refuercen nuestros logros y éxitos. Estamos en un momento crucial en el cual si no creemos en nuestros talentos, lo que hagamos será en vano, muy superficial, y estará destinado al fracaso rotundo y a la frustración.

"Toxic Positivity" (Positividad Tóxica), es el nombre del 9no álbum de estudio de la banda de rock emo-punk-alternativo The Used, lanzado en el mes de mayo del presente año y la canción que les interpretaré en la guitarra es el 2do sencillo de dicho disco titulado "Giving Up" (Rendirse) cuyo video musical salió hace 2 diás y se los dejo abajo para que lo disfruten.

Elegí esta canción porque es lo opuesto del titulo del disco, pero que a pesar de todo nos invita a no darnos por vencidos así la oscuridad se sienta eterna. Es una canción muy melódica, con matices de música electrónica y que proyecta muy bien el mensaje de la canción, brindándonos una sensación de alegría y esperanza mediante una voz suave, serena y con fuerza.

Me gusta el título de este nuevo disco de la banda y es que la positividad es algo que debemos emanar como fuente creadora y como motor para que nuestras acciones tengan un propósito y sentido más claro... recordemos que esa positividad debe partir del amor, porque como bien dije semanas atrás... el amor es el único camino ❤️!!!
