For me a better world should be one where there are no prejudices, where the right to freedom of expression is respected, where the integrity of another human being is not attacked for thinking and being different; where children can grow up enjoying each stage of their lives to the fullest and can develop their personality without ties; where we adults are more conscious about what we say and do; where the elderly can have the care they deserve; where there are no homeless people in the abyss of poverty and misery; where spirituality is not a motive for self-punishment and aggression towards others and where there is union instead of war...

How nice it would be if all this were real in the 21st century, but it turns out that politics is the precursor of division in this bloodthirsty and power-hungry dystopia. Most of today's governments encourage the creation of mafias and elite that steal the wealth that can provide each nation with vital resources for its growth, which causes the level of social inequality to increase, and negatively.

For some years now, we have been at war; initially internal conflicts originated in many countries and now it has transcended into multilateral aggressions where sovereignty is no longer respected. Now the one who has more weapons and military equipment is the most powerful, with this they are telling us that if annihilation is necessary, they will just press the button or the trigger and that's it.

With this in mind today I bring you a song that speaks of that lack of taste that we live because of these absurd fights and that somehow provides hope through love...

"21 Guns" is the second single from the eighth studio album by one of the greatest Punk bands in history, I'm talking about Green Day. This song was written to honor 21 American soldiers killed in 2009, which was the same year of the release of the album called 21st Century Breakdown.

Hola amigos de Hive y de mi familia Hive Open Mic, soy Fernando Benedetti de @fernanblog y vengo a unirme al llamado “Un Mundo Mejor Para Todos” propuesto por el talentoso y gran amigo @daniky. Es un hecho que en esta comunidad semanalmente luchamos por esta visión bajo la consigna de Armonía Global, así que mejor temática en medio de este caos, no pudo ser…

Para mi un mundo mejor debe ser aquel en donde no haya prejuicios, donde se respete el derecho a la libertad de expresión, donde no se ataque la integridad de otro ser humano por pensar y ser distinto; donde los niños puedan crecer disfrutando cada etapa de su vida a plenitud y puedan desarrollar su personalidad sin ataduras; donde los adultos seamos más conscientes sobre lo que decimos y hacemos; donde los ancianos puedan tener los cuidados que se merecen; donde no hayan personas desamparadas en el abismo de la pobreza y miseria; donde la espiritualidad no sea motivo de autocastigo y agresión al prójimo y en donde haya unión en vez de guerra…

Qué bonito sería que todo esto fuera real en pleno siglo 21, pero resulta que la política es la precursora de la división en esta distopía sedienta de sangre y de poder. La mayoría de los gobiernos actuales incentivan la creación de mafias y cúpulas que roban las riquezas que pueden proveer a cada nación de recursos vitales para su crecimiento, lo que hace que el nivel de desigualdad social se incremente y en negativo.

Desde hace unos años, estamos en guerra; inicialmente se originaron conflictos internos en muchos países y ahora ha trascendido a agresiones multilaterales donde ya no se respeta soberanía alguna. Ahora el que tiene más armamento y equipamiento militar es el más poderoso, con esto nos están diciendo que de ser necesario la aniquilación, solo presionarán el botón o el gatillo y listo.

Teniendo esto en cuenta hoy les traigo una canción que habla de ese sinsabor que vivimos por causa de estas peleas absurdas y que de algún modo brinda esperanza por medio del amor…

“21 Guns” (21 armas) es el segundo sencillo del octavo disco de estudio de una de las bandas de Punk más grandes de la historia, les hablo de Green Day (Día Verde). Esta canción fue escrita para honrar a 21 soldados estadounidenses muertos en el año 2009, el cual fue el mismo año de lanzamiento del disco llamado 21st Century Breakdown (Descomposición Del Siglo 21).

Esta vez no vengo con mi guitarra, quise cantar para no perder la costumbre, claro está, nunca he sido el mejor cantante, pero trato al menos de cumplir con un estándar aceptable dentro de lo esperado… así que amigos pónganse cómodos y disfruten conmigo de mi participación para la semana 123 del Hive Open Mic; dicho esto… ¡A Rockear!
