I am going to directly associate the theme with the song I bring you today, which seems to me propitious to talk about our life learning. There will always be peak moments, high moments that depending on the context, will take us to the top or to imminent failure; however, the phrase “The last time” refers to something that will not be lived again, which leads us to a situation of repression and undeniable relief. How many times have we not fallen into loops where we say to ourselves, enough or no more...? I believe that it can happen to us all our lives since we will never be sufficiently prepared to stop an adverse situation all at once, unless we already have so much experience that it is not difficult for us to see that fateful end to which we can arrive and manage the situation with great mastery.

Abuse, dependence and co-dependence, physical-verbal-psychological abuse or the same need, can take us to the limit bringing out our submissive or rebellious side and it is certainly better the latter, because putting up with something negative and not responding is lethal to our physical, mental and spiritual health. The Very Last Time belongs to the sixth studio album of the Welsh metalcore band Bullet For My Valentine, called Gravity and released in 2018. This song tells us about a toxic relationship that after so many opportunities, did not have a happy ending and therefore had to be culminated. Some of the most complex environments and where many existential dilemmas lie in the human being, are the personal and social; dealing with oneself or with another person will never be easy, in fact, in our families we have conflicts precisely because of the abysmal difference of characters between each member. This is not isolated from friendship, work or couple relationships where we test our patience, tolerance and the limits we must set based on respect, which are strictly necessary.

Many people are victims of situations like this, which leads us to think that not all of us grow up in healthy, assertive environments and in which we are taught to defend ourselves from evil, for that reason, if we do not take control of the situation, who else will do it.... I invite you not to fall into submission and also to know ourselves more, because when we disconnect from this self-knowledge, our self-esteem, self-image, self-concept and therefore our sense and purpose of life is in danger. It is essential to learn to give ourselves time and respect our processes, it is equally important not to allow someone else to direct our life and to understand that to live is to enjoy, to be fulfilled, to feel pleasure for what is beautiful and healthy and to be able to have the capacity without restrictions, to express ourselves healthily without harming the life of others or our own.

Hola amigos de Hive y familia del Hive Open Mic, espero que el cierre de semana sea genial para todos y que los proyectos, metas y objetivos trazados hayan sido cumplidos en su mayoría. Siempre será bonito compartir música en esta tarima mundial para disfrutar del trabajo que cada uno ha hecho con mucho esfuerzo y así pasar un rato agradable desconectándonos de la rutina.

Voy a asociar directamente la temática con la canción que hoy les traigo, la cual me parece propicia para hablar de nuestros aprendizajes de vida. Siempre habrán momentos cumbres, momentos álgidos que dependiendo del contexto, nos llevarán a la cima o al fracaso inminente; sin embargo, la frase "La última vez" se refiere a algo que ya no se volverá a vivir, lo que nos lleva a una situación de represión y desahogo indiscutiblemente. Cuantas veces no hemos caído en bucles en donde nos decimos a nosotros mismos, basta o ya no más?... Creo que nos puede pasar toda la vida ya que nunca estaremos suficientemente preparados para frenar una situación adversa de golpe, a menos que ya tengamos tanta experiencia que no nos cueste ver ese fatídico final al que podemos llegar y manejar la situación con mucha maestría.

El abuso, la dependencia y co-dependencia, el maltrato físico-verbal-psicológico o la misma necesidad, nos pueden llevar al límite sacando nuestro lado sumiso o rebelde y es que sin duda es mejor lo segundo, porque aguantar algo negativo y no responder es letal para nuestra salud física, mental y espiritual. The Very Last Time pertenece al sexto álbum de estudio de la banda galesa de metalcore Bullet For My Valentine, llamado Gravity y lanzado al mercado en el año 2018. Esta canción nos habla de una relación tóxica que luego de tantas oportunidades, no tuvo un final feliz y por ende tuvo que ser culminada. Algunos de los entornos más complejos y en donde radican muchos dilemas existenciales en el ser humano, son el personal y el social; lidiar con uno mismo o con otra persona nunca será fácil, de hecho, en nuestras familias tenemos conflictos justamente por la diferencia abismal de caracteres entre cada miembro. Esto no es aislado de las relaciones de amistad, trabajo o pareja en donde ponemos a prueba nuestra paciencia, tolerancia y los límites que debemos marcar basados en el respeto, que son estrictamente necesarios.

Si algo no te gusta, dilo; si algo te perturba o te hace daño, aléjate de ahí y si una persona te coarta tu libertad de ser y expresarte, huye por tu vida o sino la autodestrucción será inmediata. Muchas personas son víctimas de situaciones así, lo que nos lleva a pensar que no todos crecemos en ambientes sanos, asertivos y en el cual nos enseñen a defendernos de la maldad, por tal motivo, si no tomamos el control de la situación, quien más lo hará?... Los invito a no caer en la sumisión y también a conocerse más, porque cuando nos desconectamos de ese autoconocimiento, peligra nuestra autoestima, autoimagen, autoconcepto y por ende nuestro sentido y propósito de vida. Es indispensable aprender a darnos tiempo y respetar nuestros procesos, igualmente es importante no permitir que alguien más dirija nuestra vida y entender que vivir es disfrutar, ser pleno, sentir placer por lo bonito y sano y poder tener la capacidad sin restricciones, de expresarnos sanamente sin vulnerar la vida de otros o la propia.
