Jeremiah 6:16 KJV
Thus saith the Lord , Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein .

Isaiah 56:11 KJV
Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

There are shepherd or pastors who are greedy. They look to their own way to their own gain.

Ecclesiastes 5:10 KJV
He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.

Ephesians 2:10 KJV
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Before our creation, the old path was prepared for us to follow.

Hosea 14:9 KJV
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things ? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

The way of the Lord is His words and His Commandments.
