Lesson learned from the worship service held on zoom on 4th June 2021

It was another powerful service which started at 9:30pm Nigerian time and lasted for about 2 hours.

The focus was on the Christian battle in which our enemy is the devil and that we need to be steadfast in faith in order not to be defeated by the devil.

A lot of Bible verses were used to explain these.

1 Peter 5:9 KJV
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Colossians 1:23 KJV
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

1 Timothy 1:19 KJV
Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

Hebrews 5:14 KJV
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Here are few of the point:

• Are you in the faith? And if you are in the faith, check your stand.
• you should always examine yourself if you are in faith
• if you have christ, you should be in faith and christ is with you in the battle, so you will not be defeated.
• in battle, we should have self control
• you should fight the devil with strong faith
• if the devil see that you are shaky, you will easily be defeated by the devil.
• if Christ is in you, you will not be defeated by the enemy.
• you should be aware of your surrounding
• we are in a battle and our enemy is the devil.
• we need to be sober and be steadfast in faith.
