Lessons from the mass inductrination day 5 held on the 22nd April 2022 via zoom

It was a great time listening to great teaching from bro Eli. A lot of lessons were learnt and I just want to share few from the lessons.

Some of the important points learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting are:

• The husband has no power over his body but his wife and also, the wife has no power over her body but the husband.
• Couples need to abstain when they want to devote themselves to fasting and prayer.
• You cannot just fast and pray by continuing to do anything. Couples must abstain from sex.
• Fasting can regenerate the immune system.
• There are things that married couples should observe before their prayers can be answered as stated in 1 Peter 3:7
• The man should give honour to the woman as unto weaker vessel.
• A man should not have sexual intercourse with the wife during her monthly period.
• The husband is the head of the woman. The role of the man is as president.
• Any man that does not provide for his household is worse than an infidel. It is an obligation of the man to provide for the family.
• Every man should uncover their head when they pray or prophesy and every women should cover their head when they pray or prophesy.

My former beliefs or expectation that was improved for listening at the Zoom meeting

From the Zoom meeting, we learned that couples should abstain from sexual intercourse during fasting. We also learned many other things that we need to do and things we need to avoid during fasting.

Ways in which the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives

From the study, we learned about the roles of men and the roles of women. We also learned how a man should treat his wife with honour and how wife should treat her husband with respect.
