The function of the pastor is to lead the sheeps.

Romans 2:21 KJV
Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

A leader should lead by example.

2 Corinthians 8:14,20 KJV
But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: [20] Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:

We are supposed to support one another because we are to serve unto one another according to the gift given to us.

Proverbs 27:10 KJV
Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.

A neighbor that is near is good but a brother that is close is better.

We should esteem others more than ourselves. We should not boast.

Hebrews 5:13-14 KJV
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. [14] But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

We need to leave behind the things of childhood and go on to perfection.

For a man to be saved, he should know the truth to salvation.

Philippians 2:12 KJV
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

We should fulfill the work of our salvation and what will make us perfect is our good work
