It was established in the first part of the topic that God is not far from us, in fact He has promised not to leave us. So, why does it seems that He is far away?

Malachi 3:7 KJV
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them . Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

We can find the answer in the verse above. We are the one that have gone away from His ordinances.
