Dear friends of the Gaming community, today I finally fulfilled my dream of making well-done gameplay for the HiveGC community. And although I haven't been able to buy a decent PC yet, at work there is one with many games installed and good capabilities to play different epic video games, plus I have enough free time to record and edit these videos.

I'll start with a game that I missed a lot, it's Need For Speed, a saga that I consider legendary as it has always been present in my library of favorite games. And although it is not the classic Most Wanted, this version called The Run offers the same experience only with some improvements that test your ability as a racer. In other videos, I will also talk about other racing games like Fast and Furious Showdown or Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed.

But let's talk a little bit about Need For Speed: The Run. This is a game released in 2011 by Electronic Arts but developed by Black Box, it is the 8th installment of the Need For Speed title but is described by critics as a high-risk race across the United States.

The gameplay or plot consists of Jack, who is the main character, and his race to get out of the trouble he has gotten into with the mafia. Since they want to kill him for the large debts he has accumulated and can not pay. His only way out is to win a race from San Francisco to NY, where the best 200 runners from all over the country will run, besides running away from the police and the mobsters along with the race.

I didn't start the game from the beginning, since I had been playing it for a while, I'm currently in the middle of the course very close to Aspen, I've already passed Las Vegas and I have only 5 stakes left to finish the game and see if Jack manages to get out of debt with the mafia or if he dies in the attempt.

As for the visual aspect of this game, I love the realism it has thanks to the graphics engine that is Frostbite 2. For example in previous NFS deliveries such as Most Wanted if you crashed your car against another car or a wall, nothing happened, you just went back and went ahead with your career, but in The Run, if you crash into anything at a speed of 200 kph, your car is destroyed and you have to try again from the last checkpoint.

Another thing that also stands out in this installment of NFS, is that they have the system of backtracking, they only give you 9 for each station you are in and if you use them all you must start from the beginning of the station losing all checkpoints. This puts a degree of challenge to this game, as the tracks are extremely difficult because there are many difficulties, for example where I am on the ice that does not allow proper driving and excessive skidding every time I go right or left. In addition to some extreme curves and so tight that you have to slow down to a minimum speed to avoid going over the cliff.

Another thing that stands out is the way the cars roar when you accelerate to full throttle and that the cars can run at over 300 kph, something that every NFS player wants to leave all opponents behind. I am currently racing a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, a very powerful machine that with nitrous can reach 325 kph, it is also very light when it comes to maneuvering in competitions, the only disadvantage is the excessive skidding.

In the next installment, I will be sharing the other seasons until I can see the end of this installment of NFS, I am currently in position 86 of the 200 players and in each season I advance between 12 and 15 positions, so I hope to be among the first when I get to NY.

Queridos amigos de la comunidad Gaming, el día de hoy finalmente he podido cumplir mi sueño de hacer un gameplay bien hecho para la comunidad de HiveGC. Y aunque aún no he podido comprarme una PC decente, en el trabajo hay una con muchos juegos instalados y buenas capacidades para jugar distintos videojuegos épicos, además tengo suficiente tiempo libre como para grabar y editar estos videos.

Comenzare con un juego que extrañaba muchísimo, se trata de Need For Speed, una saga que yo considero legendaria ya que siempre ha estado presente en mi biblioteca de juegos favoritos. Y aunque no es el clásico Most Wanted, esta versión llamada The Run ofrece la misma experiencia solo que con algunas mejoras que ponen a prueba totalmente tu capacidad de corredor. En otros videos tambien hablare de otros juegos de carreras como Fast an Furious Showdown o Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed.

Pero hablemos un poco sobre Need For Speed: The Run. Este es un juego lanzado en el 2011 por Electronic Arts pero desarrollado por Black Box, es la 8va entrega del título Need For Speed pero descrito por los críticos como una carrera de alto riesgo por todo estados unidos.

La jugabilidad o la trama se componen de Jack, que es el personaje principal y su carrera por salir de los problemas que se ha conseguido con la mafia. Ya que lo quieren matar por las grandes deudas que ha acumulado y que no puede pagar. Su única salida es ganar una carrera desde San Francisco hasta NY, donde correrán los mejores 200 corredores de todo el país, además de huir de la policía y de los mafiosos a lo largo de la carrera.

Yo no comencé el juego desde el principio, ya que tenía rato jugándolo, actualmente estoy por la mitad del recorrido muy cerca de Aspen, ya he pasado las Vegas y me quedan solamente 5 estacones para terminar el juego y poder ver si Jack logra salir de la deuda con la mafia o si muere en el intento.

En cuanto al apartado visual de este videojuego, me encanta el realismo que tiene gracias al motor gráfico que es el Frostbite 2. Por ejemplo en entregas del NFS anteriores como el Most Wanted si chocabas tu carro contra otro carro o contra una pared, no pasaba nada simplemente retrocedías y seguías adelante con tu carrera, pero en The Run si chocas contra lo que sea a una velocidad de 200 kph, pues tu carro se destruye y tienes que intentarlo de nuevo desde el último punto de control.

Otra cosa que tambien destaco de esta entrega de NFS, es que tienen el sistema de retrocesos, te dan solamente 9 por cada estación en que estés y si las usas todas debes iniciar desde el principio de la estación perdiendo todos los puntos de control. Esto le pone un grado más de desafío a este juego, ya que las pistas son sumamente difíciles debido hay muchas dificultades, por ejemplo donde estoy es el hielo que no permite una conducción adecuada y un derrape excesivo cada vez que voy a la derecha o izquierda. Además de unas curvas extremas y tan cerradas que hay que bajar al mínimo la velocidad para no irse por el precipicio.

Otra cosa que destaco es la manera en que los carros rugen cuando aceleras a fondo y que los carros pueden correr a más de 300 kph, algo que todo jugador de NFS desea para dejar atrás a todos los oponentes. Actualmente estoy corriendo con un Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, una maquina muy potente que con el nitroso puede alcanzar los 325 kph, además es muy ligero a la hora de maniobrar en las competencias, la única desventaja es el derrape excesivo.

En una proxima entrega estaré compartiendo las otras estaciones hasta poder ver el final de esta entrega de NFS, actualmente estoy en la posición 86 de los 200 jugadores y en cada estación adelanto entre 12 y 15 posiciones, así que espero estar entre las primeras cuando llegue a NY.
