Hive Open Mic 107 - Loyal, Brave and True (Cover) by Eugelys

Una semana más, un nuevo tema, una nueva canción y me encanta poder haber encontrado una, se llama Loyal, Brave and True y forma parte de la banda sonora de la película Mulán (2020), interpretada por la grandiosa Christina Aguilera, esta canción es toda una joya, se convirtió en un reto vocal e interpretativo, en momentos sentí muchas ganas de llorar mientras estaba grabando (Uh soy bien llorona).

One more week, a new theme, a new song and I am delighted to have found one, it is called Loyal, Brave and True and is part of the soundtrack of the movie Mulan (2020), performed by the great Christina Aguilera, this song is a gem, it became a vocal and interpretive challenge, at times I felt like crying while recording (Uh I'm a crybaby).

La canción se ajusta al tema de la semana (afortunadamente) que es: Brave Mind, habla sobre el cuestionarse la lealtad, valentía y el ser verdadero, empieza con una frase impactacte como: War is not freedom, (la guerra no es libertad) y el resto de la canción está cargada de mucha sabiduría sobre el valor de la familia y el autoconocimiento. Este tema no alcanzó la fama de Mi Reflejo de la película animada Mulán, sin embargo es realmente hermoso.

The song fits the theme of the week (fortunately) which is: Brave Mind, it talks about questioning loyalty, bravery and being true, it starts with an impactful phrase like War is not freedom, and the rest of the song is loaded with a lot of wisdom about the value of family and self-knowledge. This song did not reach the fame of My Reflection from the animated movie Mulan, however, it is really beautiful.

Valores como la lealtad, valentía y el ser verdadero en un mundo plagado de máscaras es un gran desafío, cada día nos cuestionaremos sobre el ser leales a nuestros valores, cuán valientes debemos ser en una determinada situación y quién somos en realidad. Iremos cambiando en busca de ser la mejor persona posible y en esa búsqueda necesitamos valentía, sin importar las caídas estaremos prestos a levantarnos y seguir, al fin y al cabo todos somos guerreros luchando nuestras propias batallas.

Values such as loyalty, courage and being true in a world full of masks is a great challenge, every day we will question ourselves about being loyal to our values, how brave we should be in a given situation and who we really are. We will be changing in search of being the best person possible and in that search we need courage, no matter the falls we will be ready to get up and continue, after all we are all warriors fighting our own battles.
