Los ciudadanos de habla hispana tenemos muchas palabras especiales que definen ciertas cosas en nuestros dialectos, a pesar de que hablamos castellano, este idioma se ve pintado por muchas diferencias que pueden llegar a confundirnos al hablar. Les comento esto, pues el título de esta canción es una de esas palabras que en un país de habla hispana significa un "algo" y en otro país significa un "algo" totalmente diferente.

Spanish speaking citizens have many special words that define certain things in our dialects, even though we speak Spanish, this language is painted by many differences that can confuse us when we speak. I tell you this, because the title of this song is one of those words that in one Spanish speaking country means a "something" and in another country means a totally different "something".

La palabra cachito en Venezuela es comúnmente relacionada con un alimento que está hecho de harina de trigo y relleno con jamón picado, pero resulta que en México un cachito significa una "pedacito". Y así va nuestro idioma con tantas palabras que cambian de significado según el país, esto habla de lo diferentes que somos y es algo encantador poder aprender el significado que puede tener una misma palabra en diversos países y es aún más genial cuando podemos aprender el significado de estas palabras gracias a la música.

The word cachito in Venezuela is commonly related to a food that is made of wheat flour and stuffed with chopped ham, but it turns out that in Mexico a cachito means a "little piece". And so goes our language with so many words that change meaning depending on the country, this speaks of how different we are and it is something lovely to be able to learn the meaning that the same word can have in different countries and it is even cooler when we can learn the meaning of these words thanks to music.
