Cuando vi el tema del Hive Open Mic de esta semana: Light of the world pensé en aquello que puede iluminar el mundo, de inmediato vino a mi mente la luz del amor, brillante y transformadora, puede construir nuestros más grandes sueños y hacerlos realidad.

Esta semana mis publicaciones van dedicadas a este sentimiento, al amor. Por eso mis canciones de esta semana giran en torno a esta emoción y en esta ocasión aprovecho para compartir con ustedes una canción de los años ochenta que gusta mucho, fue un himno en su época. Interpretada por la cantante Melissa que marcó un hito por ser una exponente del pop rock en Venezuela, también supo entregar baladas supremas que sé incluso hoy en día son recordadas y cantadas por muchos.

When I saw the theme of this week's Hive Open Mic: Light of the world I thought about what can light up the world, immediately came to my mind the light of love, brilliant and transformative, it can build our biggest dreams and make them come true.

This week my publications are dedicated to this feeling, to love. That's why my songs this week revolve around this emotion and on this occasion I take the opportunity to share with you a song from the eighties that I like a lot, it was a hymn in its time. Performed by the singer Melissa who marked a milestone for being an exponent of pop rock in Venezuela, she also knew how to deliver supreme ballads that I know even today are remembered and sung by many.

Esta canción es tan suave y acogedora que por un momento puedes viajar hasta la escena de una par de amantes que pierden la noción de tiempo al estar en una habitación que como ella dice en la canción huele a corazón. Habla de la entrega total en cuerpo y alma.

Espero que les agrade este cover y que el amor sea siempre la luz que ilumine sus vidas, el amor bien entendido, ese que logra adicionar momentos maravillosos a sus días, ese que les hace perder la noción del tiempo y querer perpetuar los maravillosos instantes que se vuelven horas, días y años.

This song is so soft and cozy that for a moment you can travel to the scene of a couple of lovers who lose track of time while being in a room that, as she says in the song, smells like a heart. Talk about total delivery in body and soul.
