#MusicNoFilter con @geadriana - Luna de Margarita (Simón Díaz Cover) @eugelys

Gea vive en Cumaná y entre sus múltiples ocupaciones ahora debe venir con frecuencia a Lechería, no habíamos podido cuadrar para vernos por muchas causas ajenas a nuestra voluntad hasta que el pasado miércoles sin mucha planificación pudimos reunirnos después de no vernos por más de 3 años y medio, son tantas las vivencias que compartimos, constantemente, a nivel virtual que la distancia se hace muy pequeña y al vernos parecía mentira que había pasado tanto tiempo sin que pudiéramos compartir en la "vida real".

Gea lives in Cumaná and among her multiple occupations now she has to come frequently to Lechería, we had not been able to arrange to see each other for many reasons beyond our control until last Wednesday without much planning we were able to meet after not seeing each other for more than 3 years and a half, there are so many experiences that we share, constantly, at a virtual level that the distance becomes very small and when we saw each other it seemed unbelievable that so much time had passed without us being able to share in "real life".

Habíamos quedado en cantar juntas y así lo hicimos, sin ningún ensayo previo, tan solo dividimos la canción rápidamente y empezamos a cantar luego de que yo tuviera que anotar en un papel los acordes, quise confiar en mi memoria pero no funcionó (xD), lo mío es cantar más allá de tocar instrumentos (lol).

We had agreed to sing together and so we did, without any previous rehearsal, we just divided the song quickly and started singing after I had to write down on paper the chords, I wanted to rely on my memory but it didn't work (xD), my thing is to sing beyond playing instruments (lol).

De hecho es la primera vez que toco un instrumento y alguien canta en una grabación (xD), quería hacer algunas voces pero no me sobró concentración.

In fact it's the first time I play an instrument and someone sings in a recording (xD), I wanted to do some vocals but I didn't have enough concentration.

El lugar donde hicimos el cover, la Fundación la Tortuga, es un sitio precioso y maravilloso, con una energía única, Este es uno de los #MusicNoFilter más puros de todos, se escucha el ruido de fondo de la calle, yo quedé un poco lejos del teléfono con el cual @littlegremlin nos grabó así que mi voz y el cuatro suenan en más bajo volumen en comparación con Gea.

The place where we did the cover, Fundación la Tortuga, is a beautiful and wonderful place, with a unique energy, This is one of the purest #MusicNoFilter of all, you can hear the background noise of the street, I was a little far from the phone with which @littlegremlin recorded us so my voice and the cuatro sound in lower volume compared to Gea.

Cuando empecé a grabar #MusicNoFilter, en abril de este año, mi intención era dejar fluir, buscar el sonido puro, volver a la esencia de la cantante que soy. Claro está que también seguiré grabando con micrófono y compartiré covers de ese estilo, con alguna edición de audio pero el cantar música sin filtro me recuerda a la vida sin máscaras, a la honestidad y a la pureza.

When I started recording #MusicNoFilter, in April of this year, my intention was to let it flow, to look for the pure sound, to get back to the essence of the singer I am. Of course, I will also continue recording with a microphone and I will share covers of that style, with some audio editing but singing music without a filter reminds me of life without masks, honesty, and purity.

Este es un cover de "Luna de Margarita" que ahora grabé junto a Gea, la verdad que nos divertimos un montón cantando, a veces yo entraba en la parte que le tocaba a ella, me equivoca, no entraba cuando me tocaba a mi, tengo unos cuantos bloopers que probablemente comparta (lol).

This is a cover of "Luna de Margarita" that I now recorded with Gea, the truth is that we had a lot of fun singing, sometimes I would enter in the part that was her turn, I'm wrong, I didn't enter when it was my turn, I have a few bloopers that I will probably share (lol).
