Aproveché que me pagaron las vacaciones del trabajo para encargar el anillo de graduación, ya que tenía meses de la graduación que lo quería hacer, pero nada me resulta tan fácil como se espera.

I took advantage of my paid vacation from work to order the graduation ring, as I had months before graduation that I wanted to do it, but nothing is as easy as expected.

Desde poco antes de graduarme de licenciado en biología estoy preguntando por el color de la piedra para mi carrera y nadie me sabía responder, la mayoría de mis profesores no tenían anillo, logré que una profesora que justamente era la profesora de la materia de la que era preparador si tenía y me dijo que era amarillo ya que es el color para ciencias.

Since shortly before graduating with a degree in biology I have been asking about the color of the stone for my career and no one knew how to answer me, most of my teachers did not have a ring, I managed to get a teacher who just happened to be the teacher of the subject I was preparing and she told me that it was yellow since it is the color for science.

Para buscar precios y modelos, así como seguir indagando el color de la piedra para mi carrera, visite varias joyerías y algunas decían ámbar o amarillo, otras acuamarina o azul clarito y en el lugar dónde termine encargando el anillo decía que verde y resulta ser mi color favorito.

To look for prices and models, as well as to continue researching the color of the stone for my career, I visited several jewelry stores and some said amber or yellow, others aquamarine or light blue and the place where I ended up ordering the ring said green and it turns out to be my favorite color.

Me probé diferentes modelos y tamaños y me decidí por uno más parecido al que tenía de bachillerato que ya me acostumbré y no lo siento no tan grande ni tan pequeño. Me preguntaron por los detalles que quería tuviera y me lo imaginaba y siento que me encantará.

I tried on different models and sizes and decided on one more similar to the one I had in high school, which I got used to and I don't feel it's not so big or so small. I was asked about the details I wanted it to have and I imagined it and I feel that I will love it.

Salí de la joyería súper contento ya que el anillo tendrá todas las cosas que siento tengo amor, quería como celebrar e imaginé que lo haría con mi mejor amiga @kealeortiz pero estaba de viaje corto y dije que esperaría, en eso me escribe un amigo reciente y le dije para ir a mi lugar favorito de Cumaná dónde venden el mejor café, merengadas y postres, luego vimos la foto de otro amigo y lo invitamos.

I left the jewelry store super happy since the ring will have all the things I feel I have love, I wanted to celebrate and I imagined I would do it with my best friend @kealeortiz but I was on a short trip and said I would wait, in that moment a recent friend wrote me and I told him to go to my favorite place in Cumaná where they sell the best coffee, merengadas and desserts, then we saw the photo of another friend and we invited him.

Ellos creo no conocían el lugar y pidieron la opción obvia que es merengada de brownie, por mi parte quería saber si tenían nuevos sabores y me dicen de limón con galletas, terminé tomando esa y la ame, lo loco es que era verde, ya que estábamos allí por mucho tiempo hablando terminamos probando el otro nuevo sabor inspirado en piña colada y a parte un quesillo.

I think they didn't know the place and asked for the obvious option which is brownie meringue, I wanted to know if they had new flavors and they told me lemon with cookies, I ended up taking that one and loved it, the crazy thing is that it was green, since we were there for a long time talking we ended up trying the other new flavor inspired in piña colada and a quesillo.

Al final la chica que nos atiende nos pregunta si teníamos baja de azúcar, es casi colega ya que es licenciada en educación mención biología y le expliqué que era que ya encargue el anillo de graduación y ella pensaba que el color era ámbar.

At the end the girl who served us asked us if we had low blood sugar, she is almost a colleague since she has a degree in education mention in biology and I explained to her that I had already ordered the graduation ring and she thought that the color was amber.

El hecho está que sigo sin estar 100% del color de la piedra para mi carrera, pero estoy feliz con como parece será mi anillo y si ahora no es el color correcto, me esforcé de que sea el correcto. Si sabes el color correcto me puedes decir y así tenga chance de corregir.

The fact is that I'm still not 100% sure about the color of the stone for my race, but I'm happy with how my ring looks like it will be and if it's not the right color now, I tried hard to make it the right one. If you know the right color you can tell me so I have a chance to correct.
