Although this song is popularized by Serenata Guayanesa, it is a song widely used in the east of the country and here in Cumaná it is well known.
Hello beautiful people of the Open Mic community here @eudarcabello this time for week 112 titled Local Tradition with the theme The Golden Boat.
In Cumaná it sounds a lot in festive events and I have already presented it with the choir of my University and whenever it is presented it is a pleasure to sing it with the right instruments and well executed. I try to make this track work, but it doesn't feel the same as with live musicians, I hope it gives you an idea of how it sounds.
I seem to make a lot of excuses but I recently got wet in the rain and I think I'm a little hoarse, apart from the negatives this video may have, I really enjoyed making it.
I want tonight I want tonight with all my pleasure
sing to the land, sing to the land that saw me born (encore)
The golden boat, the silver rudder,
the keel of steel, the sails of mother-of-pearl
we've come this far, the boat has already anchored
and the fishermen serenade (bis)
the river was in bloom, the river was in bloom, in front of the seawall
were its buds, were its buds, were its buds ships of illusion
The boat of gold, the rudder of silver...
The boat sails, the boat sails, waters of honor...
And as helmsman, and as helmsman goes the Liberator
The golden boat, the silver rudder...
The boat goes, the boat goes, the boat goes, the boat goes
Leaving the wake, leaving the wake of freedom
The Golden Boat, the silver rudder...
Thank you for your support. I hope you liked my post as much as I did and I invite you to visit my future posts.
