Hace muy poco hablaba con amigos quienes piensan que la situación en mi país es la peor, puede que tengan razón y mi intención no es tratar tema político, pero la verdad es que en cada país en algún aspecto les va mal, ahora suena los desastres naturales en Siria, vivimos en tiempos difíciles en todas partes y es acá donde solemos acudir más a Dios.

Very recently I was talking to friends who think that the situation in my country is the worst, they may be right and my intention is not to deal with political issues, but the truth is that in every country in some aspect they are doing badly, now it sounds the natural disasters in Syria, we live in difficult times everywhere and it is here where we usually turn more to God.

He convivido con personas muy creyentes y los que no creen en Dios para nada, me parece bien conocer ambos puntos de vista y si me considero neutral. Seguramente gente sumergida totalmente en una iglesia piensen que estoy del lado del mal, pero realmente hay cosas que simplemente no tienen explicaciones, claro que puedes guiarte solo por la fé e ignorar estas cosas o por otro lado buscarle una explicación dónde no hayan tantos fallos en cuanto a la lógica.

I have lived with very believing people and those who do not believe in God at all, I think it is good to know both points of view and if I consider myself neutral. Surely people totally immersed in a church think that I am on the side of evil, but there really are things that simply have no explanations, of course you can be guided only by faith and ignore these things or on the other hand look for an explanation where there are not so many flaws in terms of logic.

La verdad siento súper importante el respeto y que no dejen que sus creencias sean excusas para maltratar a personas diferentes. He visto ambas partes y la verdad incluso más de personas que se dicen creyente, acá en mi país son mayoría, los protestantes o evangélicos como se les conoce acá ahora son mayoría en comparación a los católicos que era los que dominaban en población del país. Estos religiosos al ver a personas ateos, agnosticos, homosexuales y otros grupos que no vayan de acuerdo a su creencia los señalan y hasta atacan. Muchos creyentes ven el mal en grupos fuera los de ellos, cuando en los suyos hay cosas malas como violaciones, estafas y maltratos de distintos tipos.

The truth is that I feel it is very important to respect and not let their beliefs be an excuse to mistreat different people. I have seen both sides and the truth is that even more people who say they are believers, here in my country they are the majority, the protestants or evangelicals as they are known here are now the majority compared to the Catholics who were the ones who dominated the population of the country. When these religious people see atheists, agnostics, homosexuals and other groups that do not agree with their beliefs, they point them out and even attack them. Many believers see evil in groups outside theirs, when in theirs there are bad things such as rape, fraud and mistreatment of various kinds.

Repito que no es la idea tocar temas políticos o delicados en el post, no fue la idea original tocar temas que puedes ser sensibles, espero solo sirva de reflexión y no lo contrario, solo quería resaltar que es importante ser tolerantes con las demás personas, puede que me excediera un poco y me disculpo si llegas a sentirte ofendido de alguna forma, realmente no redacto esto con mala intención. Solo seamos esa luz que necesita el mundo sin importar cuál sea tu fé.
