Today's music is titled Odeón and it is a true Brazilian classic. It is a tango that was composed by the brilliant pianist Ernesto Julio de Nazareth (1863 - 1934). Nazareth was a musician who constantly interpreted his own compositions and always worked so that they had recognition in rhythms such as tango and polka since he preferred to call them that because they were fashionable styles in the 1890s.
Ernesto Nazareth converted the street sounds of Brazilian popular musicians and translated them on the piano, giving them delicate clothing. His work is situated on the border between the popular and the erudite, moving through both spaces at will.
This time I am going to interpret this Brazilian Tango with a Mandolin with 5 double orders of strings tuned in C G D A E. Finally, I hope that this version that I do here will be to the liking of all of you.
