Hello my people HIVE

It is an immense pleasure for me to share on this HIVE Platform, especially in this Live Hive Music Community, the music of today "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". It is a song that first appeared in the American film The Wizard of Oz (1939) , winning an Oscar for the best original song in that same year. It is believed that this song was written especially for Judy Garland (1922 - 1969), the protagonist of the film. The music was composed by Harold Arlen (1905-1986) and the lyrics by Edgar Yipsel Harburg (1896-1981). There are hundreds of versions of this song and one of the most famous is that of the Hawaiian ukulele player Israel (Iz) Kamakawiwo’ole (1959-1997). The Israel version includes some parts of another famous song, What a wonderful world and was included in the Facing Future Album of 1993, with it Israel found an international artistic projection. On this occasion, I bring you a very simple version that I did with the Violin supported by an audio track taken from a video for free use. Here is this simple version.

Es un inmenso placer para mí compartir en esta Plataforma HIVE, especialmente en esta Comunidad Live Hive Music, la música de hoy "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Se trata de una canción que apareció por primera vez en el film estadounidense El Mago de Oz (1939) resultando ganadora de un Óscar por la mejor canción original en ese mismo año. Se cree que esta canción fue escrita especialmente para Judy Garland (1922 - 1969), protagonista del film. La música fue compuesta por Harold Arlen (1905-1986) y la letra por Edgar Yipsel Harburg (1896-1981). De esta canción existen cientos de versiones y una de las más famosas es la del ukelelista hawaiano Israel (Iz) Kamakawiwo’ole (1959-1997). La versión de Israel incluye algunas partes de otra famosa canción, What a wonderful world y fue incluida en el Álbum Facing Future del año 1993, con ella Israel encontró una proyección artística a nivel internacional. En esta oportunidad, les traigo una versión muy sencilla que hiciera con el Violín apoyado en una pista de audio tomada de un video de uso libre. Aquí les dejo esta sencilla versión.
