Today's music is titled Más cuñao no. It is a type of Venezuelan popular music that is classified in what many musicians call Tambor. The singer Francisco Pacheco made a compilation of this type of music that is made in the central Venezuelan coastal area, and included a letter of his own, making it a success later. The lyrics of this song are very picturesque, particular and funny because it narrates the experiences of the typical male who lives enjoying life with two girlfriends at the same time, but is later discovered by one of them who finally leaves him, thus ending the sentimental relationship in a complete mess. When the siblings of the alleged girlfriend discover the whole charade, then the male is humiliated with the consequence of having to clarify that they should not call him more wed because their sister abandoned him. All this tragic comedy is full of the good humor of the Venezuelan black.

La música de hoy se titula "Más cuñao no". Se trata de un tipo de música popular venezolana que está clasificada en lo que muchos músicos llaman de Tambor. El cantante Francisco Pacheco hizo una recopilación de este tipo de música que se hace en la zona centro costera venezolana, y le incluyó una letra de su autoría, convirtiéndola luego en todo un éxito. La letra de esta canción es muy pintoresca, particular y graciosa pues narra las vivencias del típico macho que vive gozando la vida con dos novias al mismo tiempo, pero que luego es descubierto por una de ellas que finalmente lo abandona, acabando así la relación sentimental en un completo desastre. Cuando los hermanos de la pretendida novia descubren toda la farsa, entonces el macho se ve humillado con la consecuencia de tener que aclarar que no deben llamarlo más cuñao pues la hermana de estos lo abandonó. Toda esta trágica comedia está llena de buen humor.

Here I present a version that I did in collaboration with Carmelo in the Venezuelan Cuatro and Diego singing and, at the same time, playing the Peruvian Cajon. It is an interpretation quite simple but with the characteristic accent of the Venezuelan music, that of the center of the country. Finally, I hope you guys like it.

Aquí les presento una versión que hiciera en colaboración con Carmelo en el Cuatro venezolano y Diego cantando y, al mismo tiempo, tocando el Cajón peruano. Es una interpretación bastante sencilla pero con el acento característico de la música venezolana del centro del país. Finalmente, espero que sea del agrado de ustedes.
