Hello everyone. I am @ernesto6402 and I am here once again for this week's vibe web3 music competition. In a special way I appreciate the efforts of @verbal-d, @lordbutterfly, and others who make effort to see that this wonderful event keeps holding. I also congratulate our previous winners, you guys are really amazing.
The theme root is indeed an amazing one, it takes us back to amazing memories, things that are almost long forgotten. In response to this amazing theme, I will be doing the song coat of many colours. Coat of many colours by Dolly Parton holds so many memories for me, it is a song that reminds me a lot about home and my childhood. It was my mother's favourite song and she played and sang it almost everyday. I got to sing it along side her at a very tender age.
For my performance this week, I will be doing an acapella version of the song coat of many colours. This is just me doing my own version of that amazing song and I hope you enjoy it.
Back through the years I go wondering once again
Back to the seasons of my youth
I recall the box of rags that someone gave us
And how my mama put the rags to use
There where rags of many colours
Every piece was small
And I didn't have a coat
And it was a way down in a fall
Mama sewed the rags together
Sawing every piece with love
She made my coat of many colours
That I was so proud of
As she sew she told a story
From the Bible she have read
About the coat of many colours

And I just couldn't wait to wear it
And mama blessed it with a kiss

Made only from rags but I wore it so proudly
