😍 I chose the letter A because it has sentimental meaning for me, it is the initial of my youngest son Adrian's name. 😍

Hello dear community of artisans, creatives, crafters, today I am participating just to share with you my craft of today, joining the contest of our community of manual arts: Hive Diy.

I propose this minimalist project, I only used two tones and few materials, so you can recreate them yourself, it looks nice and at low cost.

😍 Elegí la letra A porque tiene un significado sentimental para mí, es la inicial del nombre de mi hijo menor Adrián. 😍

Hola querida comunidad de artesanos, creativos, crafteros, hoy estoy participando solo para compartir con ustedes mi manualidad de el día de hoy, sumándome al concurso de nuestra comunidad de artes manuales: Hive Diy.

Te propongo este proyecto minimalista, solo usé dos tonos y escasos materiales, para que puedas recrearlos tú, queda bonito y a bajo costo.

😍 Foami with glitter
😍 Double-sided cardboard.
😍 Hot glue.
😍 Scissors, ruler, pencil.
😍 Liquid embroidery.

🌺 Step 1

Draw the outline of the letter, trace it with a ruler and pencil, then cut it out leaving two centimeters outside the edge.

Fold in the sides.

Repeat this step twice, as we need to cover both sides.

🌺 Paso 1

Dibuja el contorno de la letra, traza con una regla y un lápiz, luego recorta dejando dos centímetros fuera del borde.

Dobla por los costados.

Repite este paso dos veces, ya que necesitamos cubrir ambas caras.

🌺 Step 2

Glue both sides together, using hot silicone to fix it, making sure that the edges are even.

Une ambas caras, utiliza el silicón caliente para fijarlo, procura que los bordes queden parejos.

🌺 Step 3

Cut very thin strips of foami with glitter.

Use the liquid embroidery to make designs to your liking on the lettering, let it dry for a few hours.

Recorta unas tiras muy delgadas de foami con escarcha.

utiliza el bordado líquido para realizar diseños a tu gusto sobre la letra, deja secar por unas horas.

🌺 Step 4

Cut out some rectangles of foami with frosting, we are going to make the petals of the flower.

Cut out the shape of a leaf.

Put a dot of glue on one of the edges of the leaf and glue. Repeat this step as many petals as you need.

🌺 Paso 4

Recorta unos rectángulos de foami con escarcha, vamos a elaborar los pétalos de la flor.

Recorta la forma de una hoja.

Pon un punto de pegamento en una de las orillas de la hoja y pega. Repite este paso cuantos pétalos necesites.

🌺 Step 5

Cut out a small circle of foami, this will serve as a base,

Glue each petal until you form a flower.

Cut a strip of foami about 2 centimeters long, fold in half and glue.

Cut in half to form small pistils.

Roll up the strip you just cut and glue to make a pompom.

Glue it in the center of the flower.

🌺 Paso 5

Recorta un círculo pequeño de foami, este servirá de base,

Pega cada pétalo hasta que formes una flor.

Recorta una tira de foami de 2 centímetros aproximadamente, dobla por la mitad y pega.

Recorta hasta la mitad para formar pequeños pistilos.

Enrolla la tira que acabas de cortar y ve pegando hasta hacer un pompón.

Pégalo en el centro de la flor.

🌺 Step 6

Now it's time to glue the strips you cut out, place them on the edges of the letter and glue with the hot silicone, this will help you to enhance the letter and cover possible imperfections.

Es el momento de pegar las tiras que recortaste, colócala en los bordes de la letra y pega con el silicón caliente, esto te ayudará a realzar la letra y cubrir posibles imperfecciones.
